No, it's a very real thing.
You don't notice it at first because it's a very gradual process, after a few years you'll notice you can't read roadsigns unless you're standing next to them.
I spent almost every hour of my waking life on the computer (I still do) and now I can't read my calendar from across the room.
I need to be sitting less than three metres from the television to play games effectively.

You're going to be wearing glasses at this rate but a lot of other factors can effect it too however this is one of the main causes for near-sightedness now.

Oh yes. That looks exactly like what I want to pay someone to do to my eye.

>> No.10310450

It's just what they might use to create a flap in your cornea to allow the laser to access the eye. The blade on that equipment is around 1/5th of the size required to actually penetrate your eye and do actual damage. They also sometimes use a laser for that part of the procedure too. Never something imprecise like a human doing it.

If LASIK is so good then why a lot of people with money never fix their eyesight and prefer glasses?

Like Steve Jobs.

It is sometimes. Having them on all the time can make your face a bit sore, and they're a pain when it's raining. Not needing glasses is definitely preferable to needing glasses, but it's not the end of the world.
