The only thing this game is missing is a Custom Combo system you can use to punish people for hitting you.

Instead caring about Ichirin, how about remembering that from a series that's said to be composed of cute little girls, about 1/3 of the demo consists in motherfucking Unzan punching the living daylights out of the protagonists?

Reimu can be extra-sassy and Marisa extra girlish. This only makes their brutal beatdowns more satisfying to see.

It's been 4 days since the announcement and Ichirin's gotten over 100 piece of fanart of her in Pixiv.
Not incredibly impressive for a Touhou character, but compare that to the amount she used to get, and you can see her popularity is growing exponentially.
It can only become larger from here.

Most of the shit in Skullgirls is more "pedo" than what AH has. And AH is an actual tournament-viable game with a strong tournament scene in Japan and a new update (Love MAX) that's set to release this Winter. There are US tournament players for this game; more than there are for Skullgirls.

That said, this is pretty much what I expected from Tasofro, so getting all bent out of shape is a waste. SDM isn't playable, and that is enough.

Probably because the fights won't last long enough. If you destroy the CPU both rounds and hardly take any damage thing will end with mostly no popularity.
But if you keep on until both are nearly dead and the time almost over on both rounds someone will most likely get it.
