VN recommendation thread?
A lot of people seem to dislike them here in /jp/, but I don't. Everyone has to be a beginner one day, and it gives us an occasion to discuss old VNs.

Anyway, I'll lend you a hand, OP!

- Umineko : BEATRICE = SHANNON = KANON = YASU = KINZO'S CHILD
- Fate Stay Night : Archer is SHIROU IN THE FUTURE
- G-Senjou no Maou : Maou is KYOUSUKE'S BROTHER
- Sharin no Kuni : Houzuki is FAKING his leg injury, Kenichi is FAKING his drug addiction, and Ririko is BEHIND YOU the whole time
- Kara no Shoujo : KUSAKA TATSUHIKO and KATSURAGI SHIN (also known as Mamiya Shinji) are the CULPRITS. Also, Orihime, Tsuzuriko and Toko 2 DIE and you can't do anything about it.
- Kira Kira : Kirari DIES
- Clannad : Nagisa DIES
- Planetarian : Reverie DIES
- Kana Imouto : Kana DIES (well, except in one route BUT THEN SHE LEAVES YOU HAHA)
- Muv-Luv Alt. : Marimo gets her head chomped off, Sumika is the causality conductor and all the heroines DIE

- Ever17 : Routes don't happen in the same TIMELINE, You is a CLONE, Coco is a GHOST, Tsugumi is the MOTHER of Kid and Sara, Blick Winkel etc... It's too long to spoil everything but I did my best!


DON'T WORRY, I spared the games that would be hurt by spoilers the most. I didn't say a word about the high-suspense plots from masterpieces such as "Wanko to Kurasou" or "Ecchi na Bunny-san wa Kirai". You can still enjoy those stories to their fullest. Thank me!

Not really. People on /jp/ are more knowledgeable that the people on /vg/, who just circlejerk over the same half dozen VNs. Plus if we continue sending anyone who mentions translated VNs to /vg/ then there will be like5 people on /jp/ discussing eroge.

have you tried Okasare Yuusha? it's not as good as Monmusu Quest but it's fun, also the guy translating the sequel says the full patch should be released at the end of this month.

No, but I've already tried.
It was pretty awful aside from the art. The directions weren't in the perspective of how you saw the map but rather your characters pont of view from first person.
The monsters were WAY to overpowered, and when you were getting raped it was eh.
There was a moment where you get jumped by three cat girls and they take turns making you fuck them.
But all that happens between them taking turns with you, is they switch faces with the other like it was copy and pasted.
