Not as likely as you'd think. Unless you count their animal stages of life. Reproducing in a youkai stage is unnecessary for the survival of their species, and since it's the oldest animals that turn youkai, they may be past their menopause already.

They very frequently do in folklore, in fact you can even turn into a youkai from excessive love (and jealousy). You grow those tiny horns and get the power to curse the shit out of whichever dirty skank who dares to look at your husband the wrong way.
