Sup jp

Went to comiket today, and going back tomorrow and after tomorrow. Have a huge stack of adult doujins stacked up. I'm wondering what's the best way to bring them back to my country (Canada). Bringing them back in my luggage means going through both US and Canadian customs.

I'm I better off mailing everything to myself? How does jp bring back ero stuff from Japan. I bought tons of stuff that I have to declare that might arouse suspicions (female display clothes, doll clothes, figs, etc)

Halp

Ship the non-fragile shit, paper/fabric gets heavy real fast. State them as gifts/calendars for the paper, not sure about the fabric. Or if you have carry-on luggage, you could probably get away with putting the doujinshi in there along with other books. You could probably ship the fig boxes too.

Wrapping the figs in your clothing (in your large bags) and making sure they're secure is good. I haven't had a problem with transporting figs like this damage-wise, but please keep in mind that they treat your bag like trash 99% of the time. They do with this mail as well though, so it'd be best to just try and bring it along with you on the plane. They go through your large bags when you enter the US, but I don't see why they'd yell at you for that sort of item.

Normal stuff (no loli), but tons of stuff which features characters which are clearly underage (is chuunibyou doujins)

Lol Canada.

Enjoy getting vanned for bringing back 'obscene' material into your country.

You'll have no problems then, ship the doujinshi/fabrics and do the fig thing like I said.
You might want to carry the chuunibyou doujinshi with you though, they would see that in customs (mail) and might seize it. Also make sure to say that you have nothing to declare on the little slip of paper they give you and you shouldn't be hassled.

ship that shit
not sure what's cheapest while still getting there in a decent amount of time though. it takes about a month for my ship-borne packages but it's the cheapest. i've never arranged it myself, only had people send it to me that way.

You get my Raita or Maidoll stuff? Actually I didn't even get a reply or an automated confirmation so I have no idea if my order submission even made it to you.

Just stop worrying. I don't know how it works on Canada, but on my country they can't inspect books and most other futile stuff.

Applicable US laws. People have been arrested for mailing lolicon (mailing obscene matter) and for possessing lolicon (possession of obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children).

From what I understand, Canada is even worse.

Be very careful, OP.

I wonder of the customs people know that something pork Comiket is going on. I bet they were briefed explaining why there is a Sudan influx of 20-30 year old pasty white males flying in from Japan in the next few days.

I doubt it's that relevant. There must be periods where there's a huge influx of bearded 55 year olds travelling to Guiana for the fried churro festival and all other kinds of events though the entire year, they ain't going to keep track of them all.
