I don't really like anything about "Otaku Culture" proper. It's just about buying stuff. Or downloading stuff. I don't like doing much of either.

I like this board because it's not really about anything. People who like to "contribute" and make "quality" or "on-topic" posts are the worst, because they always have such a warped and inane definition of quality. Why would I seek out a community about otakuism where people do just that? Awful.
