All AKB sub groups and related *48 groups welcome.

AKB48 and SKE48 together dominated 8 of the top 10 spots for Oricon yearly charts. In other news, Yokoyama Yui joined team N of NMB48, and JKT48's team J has finally been announced.

NMB48's Kitagawa Kenji also jumped up to Oricon's daily number 1 a couple of days ago, over a month after its release.

Still on today JKT48 anniversary show, Ghaida announced her graduation and that she will be leaving JKT48 after the new setlist “Renai Kinshi Jourei” done . Still no further news about this since it’s all based on the live report from fans who attended today anniversary show. I will updated this news as time goes.

And the surprise isn’t just stopping there, officials also announced that there will be 4 different kind of Promo CDs in limited quantity that will be distributed freely for the fans. Each of the CDs contain one promo song :

- Ponytail to Chou-Chou
- Baby!Baby!Baby!
- Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara
- Heavy Rotation

Those 4 CDs will have a unique limited design added with special coupon for the JKT48 Album launching in January 2013.

Currently, those CDs will be distributed via :

- JKT48 Theater – Watch the theater and you’ll get one random CD for Free
- JKT48 Official Fans Club member – Special event for the OFC members on December 27th, 2012. Grab it directly from you favorite member
- Buy any merchandise from the official JKT48 shop and get one random CD for free.
- HAI Magazine issued in January 7th

It is still unknown how overseas fans could get their hands on the CD currently aside from trying to buy it from the official shop which accepted credit cards but still doesn’t stated if they do accepted international order or not. The only way known for overseas fans to get their hands on the CD is to apply for the Super Far ticket for the theater show.

JKT48 announced something very important : TEAM J formation and TEAM J Captain!

Melody first announced that there will be an announcement for team J and then continues to the video announcement.

All 1st Gen members will be included in Team J and Kinal (Devi Kinal Putri) is chosen as the Captain for the new team.

New announcement also included a concert that will be held at January 18th 2013. No further information about the concert other than the date currently.

Also, DHAF, if you are still around, I am a little disappointed in you not so much for the gravure because I like that too but for the chaku-ero which is far too lewd for you to be supporting financially. Pure idols need your support more.

The only gravure idols whose DVDs I ever collected were Yazawa Erika who I liked for being an idol already and Nakamura Miu who went full slut a while ago making me wish I could get my money back. Anyway, no matter how far you have fallen, you can totally redeem yourself by getting back into AKB48 or by picking up HKT48.

It's the only way I'm afraid. ♥

All in all, this episode proved to me that Milky, besides being cute and possibly the strongest tsurishi in the whole 48 franchise, is also professional, entertaining and mature. Very entertaining episode, and it also seemed to me like she taught the HKT girls a few useful lessons. She's an important asset to 48 groups as a whole.

The way she talks, her gestures, her tiny looks, and everything about her is so cute! She looks like a living doll and very popular among the staffs and members. They often said

“Please, be my little sister!” , or

“Seeing you dance makes me feel refreshed”

The other members admitted that they never saw Cindy gloomy or sad since she always smiles. Except when she fell at the rehearsal for her first concert in Jakarta, she cried at that time which shocked the other members and makes them very worried.

Maybe due to that, she regarded as a spoiled child. But she denied it.

“I only get spoiled when I got sick” , even though she then said “I really looks childish am I ?“, and perhaps shows her own conscience that she acknowledge her spoiled attitude (Perhaps?)

She participated in a swimming club at her school but feels a little bit sad that she doesn’t have the time to go swimming these days.

Hoshimina, eh... lately I've been watching more Nogizakatte doko?, and I think I'll never understand Hoshimina push and Ikoma center. It's strange to see a front row that conflicts with the average fan opinion so much, especially with Hoshimina (at least Ikoma is acceptably popular, even if not as popular as Ikuchan).

I'm spending Christmas drinking expensive alcohol and catching up on Hakata Hyakkaten and other HKT stuff and honestly it's the best Christmas of my adult life so far. Something about this group makes me feel the way I did when I first got into AKB48 way back around the time of Oogoe Diamond. There's a lot to be said for freshness.

I'm so much into Nogizaka right now. To anyone with time to follow them, I highly recommend watching Nogizakatte Doko?. It starts off a bit boring, but gets interesting in a few episodes, though I'm still not completely used to Himura.

Current opinion on girls (that I have an opinion about);
+: Nishino Nanase will most likely be my oshi. I really like Shiraishi Mai, Takayama Kazumi & Sakurai Reika, and also enjoy Ikuta Erika, Eto Misa, Nagashima Seira & Tomato.

JKT48 Team J performed their new set list “Renai Kinshi Jourei” for the very first time in JKT48 Theater, Wednesday December 26th 2012 along with Takajo Aki (Akicha) and Nakagawa Haruka (Haruka).

Akicha and Haruka put their picture among the other JKT48 personnel on the members wall as symbol that they have officially joined JKT48 as a member.

“I’ve just been transferred over from AKB48 to JKT48 and I totally clueless about Bahasa Indonesia. But thank you very much for accepting me. This is my new home and I hope JKT48 could reached the same level or even surpassed AKB48“, said Haruka full of hopes.

Devi Kinal Putri (Kinal), the newly appointed Captain of the newly formed Team J said that the new set list have a much more mature theme compared to their old set list “Pajama Drive”. She also state her main goal to become the best Captain Team J ever have.

Meanwhile, the big sister figure in the group, Melody Nurramdhani Laksani (Melody) promised that they will strive to be better and go all out with their new set-list and said her thanks to the fans support for the last 7 month of the old set-list “Pajama Drive”.

One of the front liner members, Stella Cornelia, couldn’t performed on the debut show and replaced by Gabriella Margareth Warouw (Gaby), one of the most versatile member. For older top members, their age has nothing to do with it. The top members joined young and have since become so busy that it'd be hardly feasible to maintain a relationship with their schedules. If someone really prioritises that stuff and plans things extra carefully it could technically be possible, but considering all the media following etc. I don't think it's very likely it'd be worth it in their position.

For non-popular older members, no one really cares but you do find someone with something going on at times (Yonezawa etc). Here there's less work, less pressure & less paparazzi following them, so it's possible.

These are girls trying their best at the top of their industry, breaking records and selling millions. Most of the members, especially those in most demand, are probably quite work-oriented people (even workaholics) who have a strict business ethic that they follow. AKB48 would never have got so far if this wasn't the case. If anything, the girls might be pushing themselves too hard for their career, see Jurina for example.

These girls aren't perfect, but most of them are very hardworking, treasure their job as top idols and can't afford to be reckless or they will lose that. I'm sure some of them have had relationships and probably not everyone is straight, yes, but I don't think there's this western-style scandalous hidden layer of promiscuity and recklessness to the degree you suggest.

I don't want to be a spoilsport, but please try to have some respect for how far they go for their job. I don't know about you, but at least for me it's a large part of why I admire them and follow them as a group.

First off, congratulations on not knowing that the idol business has been going on for no less than three decades and the events you have probably only read of on some Shitkaku article have been running for as long using the same methodology. By now they've contributed to create a niche of their own, and a prosperous one at that, there's no need for them to take over anyone's place because they helped expand the music industry to new directions.

For what is needed, the question isn't talent vs. looks to begin with. Huh, they still are. Acchan had her own agency, OgiPro, help her with her aspirations of becoming an actress. The last 3-4 years leading up to her eventual graduation were geared toward this, in fact. The same goes for Yuko, who besides her drama jobs got to voice the main character from Brave. Yuka owes it to the AKBingo staff for being chosen as the lead of The Wiz musical. Mayuyu, who hopes to become a seiyuu, has OhtaPro training her for that career and she already had her solo debut in a pretty important full length movie. No one who works as an idol plans to stay like that forever, their job is just a stepping stone and agencies work with this goal constantly in mind. For "replaceable", that makes no sense in general, but for one example of why there's the oshi system encouraged by the management (focusing to cheer mainly on just one member). The management has put a lot of focus on the individuality of members and on encouraging fans to get strongly attached to just one member, which put them in a tough situation when Maeda graduated for example, though I suppose you don't even know who she is.

And for Merriam-Webster, if it did any authority over any of us (which it doesn't), do you really think whichever management person came up with using "チーム" would have deeper knowledge on the nuances of different words in English? The Japanese are known for their excellent English skills, or are they?

Akicha and Harugon will likely make their debut on theater this month exactly on 26th December just like the schedule told. They already introduced by appearing on some TV music show before and get some good appraisal that their only presence makes things different which it’s really good for them.

The most important thing of all is they will be a real example for their junior what it takes to be an idol, tutoring them that it takes a lot of courage to reach their dreams and respect all the 48 values and improve their quality and skills.
