I'm trying to understand this whole name building thing. and how the Japanese do this.

from my understanding they use small words such as
MI for beautiful
MA is true
KEN being strong
DAI being great (size)
AKI being bright
AI being love

So could you make a silly long name that has lots of meanings as long as it doesn't sound stupid. Or is it completely a "two part only" thing?
