Spamming reports does work:

http://fuuka.warosu.org/jp/thread/10247197
http://fuuka.warosu.org/jp/thread/10247396
http://fuuka.warosu.org/jp/thread/S10243439

And by "spamming", I mean 4 or 5 reports are enough.

And here I thought those threads were trashed because there was another patchouli thread up.

By that do you mean reporting once and then reporting with 3 or 4 proxies or do you mean you reported the thread after the janitor reset the queue?

>>10247781
Proxy reporting 4 or 5 times.

I did that with the three patchouli threads above and it worked.

i don't think you actually understand how the report system works, but sure

>> No.10247794

Those were some really bad threads, though. 2hus should consider putting some effort into their threads, this is worse than the anime shit and >/jp/.

>> No.10247801

>>10247794

it's very important that threads which you don't like be deleted from the board

/jp/ is dying for front-page real estate. so many posts so fast that the good threads just can't keep up...

>> No.10247803

>>10247790
The more reports a thread gets, the higher it gets on the priority list, right?

>> No.10247810

>>10247803
Yes.

>>10247794
I made the first one. Cute hi res picture, not a repost. Not much else you can do besides forcing some gelbooru tier one liner just for the sake of not having a textless OP.

>> No.10247810,1 [INTERNAL]

I should consider doing this if it means I can get rid of all of those "which Touhou gonna fuck" and threads of similar quality.

and then /jp/ had no threads >

>> No.10247814

>>10247801
/jp/ being slow is no excuse for no text OPs with a random picture someone found on a booru, if that's what you're saying.

>> No.10247814,1 [INTERNAL]

>>10247810,1
Great idea dude I'll do the same.

Everything is a "random picture from danbooru". Where else do you want to post Touhou?

I second this.

Touhou is all about fanwank and cute pictures. And textless OPs are far less pathetic than http://fuuka.warosu.org/jp/thread/10247821 for example.

>> No.10247824,3 [INTERNAL]

We need more threads, not less. If you don't like a thread, you should prioritize making or posting in a better one over complaining.

>> No.10247824,4 [INTERNAL]

>>10247824,3
Exactly, so why does the janitor blindly delete things based on the number of spammed reports?

Why OP?
Why do you hate our freedom?

Why do people care so much to report threads.
Stop taking the 'net seriously.

>> No.10248049

>>10248007
It only shows how little sense the moderation can make sometimes.

It's not always like this. Only sometimes, when incompetent people get their hands on the Delete button.

>> No.10248054

>>10247810
It's a good picture, I don't blame you, but you should've just posted it with an on-topic comment on an already existing thread and typed "pic unrelated" at the end.
Then again I don't understand why people hate picture dumps so much when we only have 2 or 3 at the same time at most and the board is already pretty slow anyway. I don't even think it qualifies as spam, because there's a huge cooldown between saged pictures.

Let's all make a report club and report threads together. We could call ourselves the Report Rangers, we just need five people.

I'll join. I want to see the world burn.

I suggested this a while ago. An IRC channel for dedicated reporting. Nothing malicious like scripts or flooding, just reporting by the book. We could have an IRC bot that announces rule-breaking threads, then we can all report them together. Only for obviously rule-breaking stuff though.
Eventually some nerd will say, "I think we should report X threads!" or, "Why can't we use proxies? Screw the rules!" and he'll make some spin-off secret club and we can have internet battles.

>> No.10248054,4 [INTERNAL]

>>10248054,3
Dude, one nerd single-handedly managed to remove every thread with a Patchouli opener from the board.

What /jp/ needs is non-braindead janitors and cooperation between those non-braindead janitors. Which in turn will lead to a much more consistent janitoring.

>> No.10248054,5 [INTERNAL]

>>10248054,4
All mods are global and there are global janitors. None of them should have any idea what belongs on /jp/. Shit like this happens when retards abuse the report system. Blame the abusers.
