What is the most NEET-accessible city? At the very least, it would need:
• Affordable rent and otherwise low cost of living
• To be livable without a car (can reach necessities by foot, bikeable, good public transportation)
• Low violent crime (or at least low enough that you won't get mugged on the street)
• Basic broadband internet
• Some quiet places where you can be alone (libraries, parks, trails)

Why would it need to be a city?

You could accomplish most living in a rural town somewhere. Good internet might be an issue but otherwise you'd be pretty much set, as long as you have autismbux or something to live off of.

Ehhh, I would love to find a place with rent I could afford. I get disability money because I'm sick (and not in the head, or at least they don't pay me for that) but I live near LA, so all the apartments seem to require a minimum of 1k a month. >> No.10201082

Though not a city, you should look into small towns out in the country. The house I live in has a rent of only $450 a month, and I just pay half of it because I live with my mother. Depending on which part of the country you pick, you may or may not have crime. While the south is generally filled with hardcore religious folk, it's very quiet and violent niggers will be lynched long before they can reach you.

The closest grocery store to me is less than a mile away, so I can walk to get my food. This place also has a great internet connection for somewhere so far from a city.

There are plenty of quiet places, and you can just walk a bit and find some woods to hide in if you want an even quieter place.

The only problem is there is little to no work at all, but you don't want to work anyway.

>> No.10201155 [DELETED]

My only neighbors are a black guy that owns about a hundred different tractors, an old white guy in a wheelchair who owns most of an oil company, an old woman who raises horses, and a gay biologist who is trying to crossbreed a pig and a cow or something (or maybe he was breeding them separate to make the best specimen to win prizes, I wasn't really listening), but even they are only within half a mile of me at any time anyway. Pittsburgh!
-Pretty cheap, rent isn't too expensive and low cost of living
-Excellent public transportation system, especially the bus. University students ride the bus for free, so pay a kid $20 for his ID. You get to use it while he can just get a new one. Or just search the cushions on campuses.
-Pretty darn safe, never hear about any crime
-Durr internet
-Has some nice parks, plenty of libraries and museums from the Universities and the old steel tycoons. Also has a large Botanical Garden. Again, you get in these for free with a University ID.

And yes, all the steel mills are shut down.

Last post, I've run out of photos and things to talk about.

In terms of arcade games, they're much closer to Japan as well. The arcade I visited a couple times had a Project Diva Arcade which was always up to date, they also had 8 Wangan Midnight 3dx+ cabinets, two Taiko 15 machines, beatmania, drummania, guitar freaks, some Initial D game, bunch of Gundam vs and 5 Gundam VR Pods.

I hear the other arcades have similarly up to date games, stuff like Jubeat. The prices are also absurd, all the games in this particular arcade cost 1 HKD, or 13 US cents. Project Diva was the most expensive and even then it cost 5 HKD, or 65 cents.

Also there's an AKB store in HK, I randomly discovered this whilst researching.

>>10204032
>How about the language barrier? Do I have to learn Cantonese?
HK used to be British territory until 1997, hence a large amount of the populat speak 'some' English, but in practice you'll find that the majority of people don't really speak English. The more....'cultural' a place is, the most likely they don't speak English. But if you go to the touristy places they'll probably speak some English.

>Also do the DVDs come with English subs?
No, they import goods from America but I don't think they import American anime goods. In fact I don't think I saw anime DVDs or BD much when I was over there.

You're forgetting the most important thing. Privacy. You won't have any in the places mentioned so far.
Take a walk through your nearest urban centre sometime, see what the future is going to look like. Bring a notepad and count the cameras.

There's a island country in the North Atlantic with a population of seventy million people and over five million security cameras. More are being installed every day. Maybe you don't care if the government is watching you, but how would you feel if I told you that every single one of your movements is being logged and meticulously taken apart by automated image analysis software? Your eyes are unique. So is the distance between your eyes, the size of your jaw, and it doesn't end there. Your bone structure and body mass distribution are unique, too. This means that the way you walk is special. You can put on a mask and straighten up your posture but the cameras will still know who you are just from seeing you fling your legs around like a rubber chicken.

Which brings me to my next point. The places you visit, your routine, is part of your identity. And so are the things you buy. While all that mark of beast crap spouted by conspiracy fans is exaggerated, the plastics you buy every day at the market will be tagged with radio transmitters and a serial number to prevent theft. This means that the same cameras that spy on you will also be able to tell what's in that bag you're carrying. All this information will be automatically processed by computer software, which will write your dossier, detail your behavioural patterns, update it every time you leave the house and if needed be raise a red flag if your movements become suspicious or erratic.

I'll tell you who cares. Your employer. There's a good chance some if not most of this information will be publicly available. Businessmen will want to know who is that young man who just applied for a dishwasher position at their local fast food chain. Their human resource specialists will get the tapes and zoom in to your face.

Small chin. I can count 5 zits and a black spot on the back of that tooth. He didn't speak to anyone on the way home, and only left his house a grand total of 3 times this week. Received a package containing strange foreign pornography. Credit card records demonstrate a passion for these goods. No facebook account found. Conclusion: the candidate has poor social skills, no discipline, poor self esteem. 3/10 would not hire.
That's not even the worst part. Human resources specialists are usually subcontractors, that means they work for multiple companies. Once a company has been refused to hire you, you will be essentially blacklisted and will never be able to make a living, not without changing who you are of course.

This is what the western world will be like 15, 20, maybe 25 years from now. Start making plans to move somewhere like Khartoum.

More like, 10/10 could hire and pressure for less pay and benefits, will be easy to control because he is beta.

>you will be essentially blacklisted
If what you say happens everyone will be blacklisted, there will be a huge demand shock in the job market, and society will readjust its norms.

>Khartoum.
West will pass laws against this, actually, but Khartoum- you're on your own.

Living in a college town in southern America is a good place. I live in a apartment in Auburn, Alabama.

I pay $370/mo + electricity only for my place, which includes free internet, basic cable, and right beside a Walmart.

Not all NEETs are shut ins. Also, we need money to support our lifestyle and hobbies, so working for a couple months and then being a NEET for the rest of the year could be necessary.

Race nazis? I'm not sure what you mean by that but I don't think so. People can be kind of mean here, and are definitely stuck up, but I'm not sure about that one.

After doing a little research on moving to America I have realized my chances are zero.

So, same question as OP, but for the UK. I like London but it's too expensive.

Wales, but I'm planning on moving to at least England. I'd like to live in a larger city just so I have everything there like OP noted, but the only cheap places you find in big cities like Birmingham and Manchester are full of immigrants and crime and 'youths'.

Dutch is a shitty language. Most Dutch people know a fair bit of English anyway, at least the older ones that grew up watching American cartoons before they started redubbing everything.

I don't mind living here in the East Valley in AZ, specifically the East Mesa/Gilbert area. It's incredibly quiet, slow, and safe for the amount of people living here. AZ also has some of the best internet in the US. There's parks of all sorts here and a handful of libraries. According to Wikipedia the place is cheap to live in as well. The only thing from that checklist that doesn't apply to here is accessability. Walking is very inconvenient with how far everything is, but waiting for a bus would take too long. Biking might be your best bet, which is easy to do year-round with the mild weather.

After living here for my whole life I've got say that in the end it's so boring that it's depressing. There's a lot of finished plazas without a single shop in them, housing areas that are mostly vacant, and these nicely lit wide streets with only couple cars in them. It's very much a big city with small city planning.
