Lets say I wanted to get into Atelier. What would you recommend as the best intro to the series, that is also PC friendly? I don't own any consoles but can emulate pretty well on the PC, but that also rules out PS3 games. I see that the games are divided into seperate series, so I'm assuming plot is only loosely related between the games. As it is, Im leaning towards starting Mana Khemia, but a second opinion would be appreciated.

Right now the current trilogy. Atelier Ayesha is dude out next year (being localized) and is an entirely different entry from the current trilogy. I don't actively condone piracy but you can emulate the PS2 games just fine.
