Here's the beam. It is much, much brighter than shown - this low-exposure shot just shows the beam characteristics. The light itself is about the size of a hotel toiletry bottle.

Notice the total lack of artifacts in the beam, as with a maglite/cheapo LED or incandescent light. The scalloped reflector removes all of these things.
