Is there any good VNs that run natively on GNU/Linux without bloated shitty Wine?

Too bad that haven't the umitweak patch applied.

Perhaps a GNU/Wizard could update that? http://uminekofix.wikia.com/wiki/English_Question_Arcs

ONScripter
Ren'Py

You don't need GNU for either, as far as I'm aware. Python might depend on coreutils, not too sure.

There's a ``Platform'' filter on VNDB.

But is there an easy way to install it?

All Saya no Uta downloads I can found, for example, are .exe

If it's a standard installer you can extract the data files with a program like 7-Zip.

There's also a SnU PONScripter port somewhere, but it might be tricky to find. Support JAST USA's official localizations of Nitro+ games!

It is legal for an ELF binary to have a dot followed by "exe" at the end of its name.

Did you check if they were PE executables or did you just assume they were?

Okay, so I can extract the .exe
The I install ONScripter.
And then...

Sorry for being stupid, I'm new to all this.

Navigate to the game directory (possibly where arc.nsa resides -- I don't quite remember) and run onscripter.
