Orin said she didn't do it on purpose, but Koishi knew, that even if she didn't think it, she unconsciosly wanted to do that.

I don't see how him exclaiming he needs to buy a SNES is a problem. Doesn't contradict what system is in the image.

Depends on the area. As you can see from this pic, a consolle with that particular shape with that particular name existed.

you'd wonder why Nintendo had to make the reset button so big and so easily pushable.

>> No.10146702

Not quite. The japanese model was an NTSC and was named super famicom. The PAL model was essentially undistinguishable from the japanese model in design but was named SNES just as the american NTSC model which is significantly different in shape.

Completely forgot about that. I like the American SNES better.

The american snes looks absolutely awful. I have no idea how people prefer it's design to the japanese and european counterparts.

>> No.10147203

>>10147191
Why did it have a different design anyway?

>> No.10147208

>>10147203
Because americans want to be different at all costs, even if they end up on the short end of the stick. The same thing happened with the genesis/mega drive and they were the reason the Saturn bombed.

>> No.10147219

>>10147203
Who knows... That's also true for the NES, but in that case the european version is the same as in the US.

It would make sense if it was a better design or slimmer. but the US SNES is just more bulky, squared and ugly.

>> No.10147225

>>10147219
Also, famicom-shaped games don't fit in the US SNES, you have to modify the cartridge slot to play them.

>> No.10147230

>>10147208
The Genesis and the mega drive have exactly the same design, the only thing that changed was the name, and that wasn't Sega's fault, there were trademark disputes.

>> No.10147234

>>10147225
You don't need to completely change the design for that. For example the Mega Drive simply had different cartridge slots... not like it was a problem anyway.

>> No.10147370

>>10147234
Genesis cartridges fitted and played just fine on PAL Megadrives.
Then again i had a early model. i heard they added a regionlock in the redesign.

She has a shitty taste in games.

Can't you just open up the cart and stuff the circuit thing in by itself?

>> No.10147392

>>10147370
True, now that you mention it I still have a few genesis cartridges that worked without a problem.

The main difference was with Japanese cartridges which had a different design. I simply removed some bit of plastic from the cartridge slot my PAL MD so that they could fit. There wasn't any problem.

The problem came later when somehow they managed to include in the cartridges themselves a region lock. They probably recognized the different system and refused to work, but even then they created adaptors that you could buy for cheap.

I play using emulator + wiimote with classic controller plugged in. Am I missing out on some "authentic feel"?
