Me too. Sometimes I even find myself at a loss for how to write fucking kana, even the ones I focused on because they could be confused.
But since I'm probably never going to write Japanese by hand (hell, I can barely write in my own language) it would actually be a waste of memory to remember that shit.

Either way, someone who knows how to write kanji better than he knows the meanings and readings is obviously learning them wrong. Congratulations, you spent weeks memorizing how to draw pretty, meaningless shapes!
