Dunkin' Donuts opens in ten minutes!

>> No.10038160

It's open now right? Are you gonna get some donuts?

>> No.10038163

I was not aware that there existed DD locations that ever close, aside from subway kiosks.

Yeah I'm gonna get some donuts! Two chocolate glazed and an old fashioned.

I wish DD was served in Canada. I'm fucking sick of tim horton's shitty dognuts.

Get the food when you hit up tims, who cares about doughnuts. I think they also serve breakfast to 11 or 12, which is a lot better

>>10038189

It's 100 yens per doughnut. That's a pretty good deal.

>> No.10038205

I used to love donuts but after having them every day they stopped tasting good.

What the fuck is wrong with you, tim's has great breakfast. I wouldn't even go there otherwise, not like their coffee is any good.

DD's donuts are actually pretty shitty. I know this well, because I basically ate there every day of my senior year of high school.

Their sandwiches and other breakfast foods aren't bad, but they're fairly expensive for glorified fast food - I overheard the staff say on numerous occasions that they made most of their money off them, and that the coffee was just to get you into the store.

Being a filthy cheapskate, I would bring in a mug (coffee is discounted a dollar if you do) and order a bagel. I spent just over $2 on lunch every day, took up space for hours talking to a grizzled, bearded Linux hacker older than my dad, probably scared all the whole high school away from eating there, and somehow, the staff didn't hate me.

The Dunkin Donuts closest to my house is a weird place. The first two times I went there they messed up my order and the coffee was sour, the third they dropped my donut and didn't charge me anything, fourth time they had none of the donuts I wanted, and the fifth time I was there the young man grabbing my donuts asked me very enthusiastically if I wanted the donuts with a lot of cream in them. All the donuts I've ever gotten from there have been very cold as well.

Also, the door to the place opens vertically just like a regular garage door. It's also wide enough for a car. The door is a literal garage door.

I want one of those breakfast burgers where they put a fried egg on top, a slice of bacon and douse it in syrup.

That being said, I prefer the local place down the street. They always have donuts in stock and open around 1AM to start making donuts for the morning rush. If you go there early enough you can get some donuts that are still warm and crispy. I've considered asking to work there because it seems perfect. There's always just one guy in there in the back making the donuts. For some reason those workers seem to have a quick turnover.

I don't know about you poor suckers but the last time I got my DD it wasn't terrible or nasty. Then again that was was 15 years ago so things must be different now since you have a bunch of ironic millenials and jaded, bitter X's making and serving you donuts.
