Played it. It was all right.

Basically Ep1 of NHK in visual novel form, lots of animation because the dev wanted to see what he could do with Renpy, and the best easter egg of all time.

Nothing phenomenal, can't say i'm too excited for the VN but whatever.

Very few, but they do exist to demonstrate the engine test. Or at least that's what I'm thinking.

The sprites seem very static to me, although pretty well made considering that he has no artist and analraped photoshop to get them looking decent.

I might keep an eye on this, although i'm always wary of "fan visualnovels". This could either turn out to be an all right read or be completely and utterly terrible/

I don't think it'd even be possible for an NHK game to become the "next KS".
I'm not saying KS is bad, I'm just saying that their audiences are completely different, NHK isn't about feels, it's darker than that, it's almost more believing, esides all the crazy shit that happens.

I don't know, on one hand you got the idiots who are almost pitifully clinging to the rotting corpse of potential that was Angel Beats, and on the other hand you have NHK, an anime that's quite high on what new people should watch who then proceed to claim it's the best thing since sliced bread.
