Do youkai ever have to shit? I've never actually heard of bathrooms or even plumbing mentioned in Gensokyo canon. Even if it's just the humans who have to dump every so often, Gensokyo mast be a really shitty place (pun intended) if everybody just does their business wherever and whenever they feel like it. Unless there's a specific youkai type that eats human poop.

The point is that there are a lot of allegedly homeless/wandering youkai, and unless they're knocking on people's doors every time they have to shit they're probably just doing it on the side of the road or something, or in the worst case scenario just shitting mid-flight without regard for where it drops.

Maybe not *on* Reimu, but this could likely be a reason why she hates youkai coming to her shrine so much. Like her and Remilia could be having a conversation and Remilia just drops a deuce on the lawn mid-sentence like it was the most normal thing in the world, and then Reimu realizes she's not even wearing bloomers because before she left the mansion she probably realized she'd have to shit later.
