Going to Japan on Dec 16. Staying for 3 weeks to Jan 4.
Currently planning on going to Akiba, Nakano Broadway, Fuji-Q Highland, Ghibli Museum, Fukuba (ski trip), FuyuKomi, Washinomiya Jinja and Otome Road.
Staying mostly around Shinjuku.
Any other places to visit around Tokyo?

Oh shit, one day longer and you'd have been able to maybe get tickets to see a musical starring Maaya Sakamoto.

I saw this on the final day of the first staging of it, when they announced it was so overwhelmingly popular that they were doing a limited run in 2013. It is so worth the money for a ticket; Maaya is a superstar and also mai fucking waifu (Kenichi Suzumura's a cool dude so I don't mind sharing)
