Odd, when I start I often cannot stop reading one

I went 40 hours straight on Ever17 over 3 days, i just want to get 100% and learn everything in the story

Only time I did not follow this course of action for reading was in Kira Kira, I thought Kirari Normal end was the True, so I quit at 5AM and went to sleep. I had nightmares of fires and living exhausted and playing bass in my dreary apartment, though the apartment thing was actually going on for me at the time. Extra hurt in that I could see Shikan's sadness in my life and unable to experience his enjoyment nor my own enjoyment through life.

I now think I am like Murakami, except my band split and now I just live at home and play bass.

Thanks for reminding me /jp/, im gonna go listen to Happy Cycle Mania and cry now.

Still going trough Verita, been pretty damn great. Best Eroge this year so far, ofcourse haven't read SubaHibi yet, but planning reading it after I finish everything in Verita. But overally I doubt SubaHibi will able to top Verita for me atleast, altough it will become a close one if it's as good as I think it might be.

You know a visual novel is good when it keeps you hooked like this. I did the same shit, pretty much, although as I also tab out to browse /jp/ and take breaks, it tends to take a week for something like Ever17, even playing it 12+ hours a day.

Finished Symphonic Rain. Took a while after that to discuss at IRC, read easymodo archive discussion, get heartburn with the lyrics, playing the free music, tidying up and naming the music arranges, and let things to sink in. Then go watch Shaun of the Dead 720p to clean the bittersweet aftertaste.

If you love Narcissu and True Remembrance, SRain is totally recommended. Those who rather have comedy or investigation or sci-fi element etc in order to enjoy things be warned though, since it's a 30-hours constant low-key deppresan slice of life gaem. I got distracted a lot due to low attention span.

The opening "Choose where you want to go today" gimmick gets really old.
The magical keyboardan' minigame is actually a really well made rhythm game. A shame it's so easy, though.

But the actual routes are awesome, especially the beginning of the al Fine route. I recommend Fal -> Lise -> Torta for the beginning routes, as the al Fine route is basically Torta's route from Torta's perspective.

Holy shit, ef is shit as fuck. Another typical slice of life novel. It might be shiny, but it's so shit, minori can't even pull off a bad ending properly. Same music plays through scenes that could have potentially been sad, emotionless break up over a phone... it isn't hard to make someone feel fucking bad with a bad ending, but minori managed to fail at that. I should have believed /jp/ in the first place when they said minori is dildos.

Finished both Curtain Call and Shikkoku no Sharnoth last weekend. Curtain Call was awesome at times, meh at others. Felt like the first part went by way too fast. Gave it a deserved 7. Sharnoth was awesome, way better than Niggacock. The battle system was fucking annoying though, and it pissed me off how the voices pretty much lapsed out when it hit the third chapter.

Must finish Cross Channel now. Thought it was pretty boring, and was strugling with it the past few months. Yesterday I finally gave it another go, and still found it underwhelming. Then, it went all grimdark with Sakura having the bow, and shooting Touko. Fuck yes. I have since changed my mind, and think I like it now.
