I was thinking about that. We have some incredible new voiceebanks to play with from other companies, and obviously Miku will forever be relevant, but it feels like so many of the older "staples" have fallen by the wayside. Luka, the twins, let alone Meiko and Kaito -- and Gumi as well, even if she's made by another company. I understand why Gakupo was never updated though, apparently Gackt has an illness which prevents him from singing.

I understand the need for Crypton to switch to NT and I think it's good for them to have their own engine in a vacuum, but what the hell are they doing over there that they don't have NT in a workable state yet.
Miku NT sounds okay to bad, from the Project Sekai songs using NT as well Rin also sounds meh and only Len seems remotely fine. Not even gonna mention Luka Meiko and Kaito since their NT voicebanks are atrocious.
If it wasn't for their character designs being the best, Crypton would be well and truly dead for a while.

That's good that you're tackling extreme though. I believe a lot of players stick to hard mode to a point that hinders their improvement since they think extreme is too scary. Those lower star songs really aren't too bad if you spend some time in practice mode.

Your mixing is pretty good. The phased/panned bits sounds good. I think the vocals could be more compressed and maybe cut the mids a bit. And a touch quieter, although it's tricky when the off vocal is pre-mastered.

Fantastic, just finished day 74. I've been trying out other users' edits. しろがね makes intense charts with a great flow, which lets me play a larger spread of songs while keeping the kcal count up.

My favorite song to play is Medic: a Doll since Miku is very chatty in that one. I hope they add more lines for her in future updates.

I've definitely lost a few pounds but I was already at a healthy weight when I started. I might've gained a bit of upper-body definition but that could very well be in my head. My lower half was already very toned from copious amounts of walking and supporting an additional 100lbs in past years, so no change there.

I definitely feel better mentally and physically though. I was dealing with some muscle pains prior to playing which have almost gone away entirely, I've even stopped doing physio. And the high I get from doing a 900-1000 kcal workout is unreal.

Strongly recommend people pick up the English release when it comes out. It's a lot of fun and very rewarding.
