I got an actual knock-off Irokebijin and didn't get scammed. It's what you'd expect at that price. Shoddy construction (seamlines, strong TPE smell, fucked up fingers, etc.) but it's very usable. I already had a go with it but it wasn't anything mind shattering. It helped me realise that I don't really need a full size proper doll because it doesn't really do that much for me. PayPal works from my experience, although it's still going to be tied to your vendor in the transaction data. It'll show as PayPal-[VendorName], although some of them are vague so they won't be quite as obvious. I would ask the vendor what the PayPal name is for them, if it's discreet that would work I think. If not, I would try to get a credit card with a higher max. If you have 2.5k for a doll and can afford paying for a unit for the foreseeable future I would think you could get approved for one higher than 1k, that's pretty low.

I would probably do batches like you said, doesn't have to be that small but that way it's not all in one go. It should be secure but you never know, maybe do like 500 at a time over a few weeks or whatever amount you are comfortable with. I have bought and returned about 10 blankets and pads trying to get one that actually does the trick and none of them have been stronger than the rest. The heating blanket should also be for heating yourself up with a cold doll. Body heat transfers much faster. Heated blankets will never heat the entire doll up perfectly. Silicone being a denser/non-porous material should be more resistant to indentation/deformation, but it could still happen if pressure is applied in one spot for a long time. As far as inspection goes, it's less that they don't care and more that they can't care about minor defects. If they redid every single doll that wasn't perfect then customers would be VERY dissatisfied by the wait times and they'd be wasting (literal) tons of materials and labor, which if that doesn't put them in the red outright, it wouldn't be worth what little profits there might be. Besides that, if a vendor offers an "inspection service" it's more about them dealing with customs before shipping it to you rather than making sure the product is what the client ordered.

All this heating talk gave me an idea.
I currently have a king-sized 2-outlet heating blanket. I have used it before, but the way it's constructed is for a flexible heating coil zig-zagged across the length of the blanket. When cooking my dolls in it, the heat distribution is very contained to where there are warm and cold zones on the dolls, almost making the experience worse.
I looked up if there were any materials that evenly distributed heat, but that would still in blanket-brain.

This is actually the exact one I had and was talking about lol, my doll was ~100lbs and it worked okay. It bowed a bit in the middle so I didn't use it for storage, just primarily cleaning. I set the rack up in the shower first then picked up the doll and brought her into the shower and hung her on the rack. Being able to move her around in that position was good for cleaning, you could get all the way around and to every area unlike if they were seated, and the water/soap would just run off into the shower. Next was blow dry and oil/powder if needed and let her hang there for a few hours before putting her back.

I think this would work very well for smaller dolls, mine had huge tits/ass so I would have to hold her in place with one hand the entire time so it didn't tip over. Even with the four wheels if I moved it too much to one side it would tip the whole thing over. I got crushed by it once which was funny but also sucked. Also moving her in and out of the shower fucked up my back and is not a good angle.

The reason other oils would be dangerous is because TPE is a porous material and the oils would get into the TPE lattice -- but would separate from the mineral oil already in there and cause cracks in the TPE lattice. I don't think plastic is going to do that.

In short, oils are dangerous physically, not chemically. Chemically the only things I know of that are dangerous to TPE are silicone and xylene.
