are all the available heroines. Playing blind, I've ended up with a dead fish and a best "friend" who ripped apart and poured salt into the bleeding wound of my soul because he felt like it would help me get over it at which point I promptly deleted this shit and the fandisk without even opening it. If you happen to be into dead fish or something, keep in mind that dead links for cracks on A-S can be sometimes found working in Wayback Machine.

Actually, officially, canonically mentally ill, with a hard written diagnosis, to the point that she needs medical treatment in a hospital no less. Not that stupid as another heroine though.

>Please elaborate.
Not really in a sexual sense (I'm sure she'd be a dead fish in the bed too), but you know those emotionless types? She's like that, except when she does open her mouth once in a blue moon, she speaks le frog because otherwise she wouldn't be special snowflake enough. So a walking corpse, another quality girlfriend for the "I can fix her" cucks, apparently.

The third one is dumber than her own dog, probably bundled with some equally stupid drama I couldn't care less about (I've begun skipping text by that point).

I just wanted an oneechan in a game with a bunch of choices that would make capturing her interesting. I got a bunch of clowns I'd be stuck with for at least 75% of the reading time (and 100% of the beginning), with not even a pair of tits as a reward for putting up with them.

Does Natsuyume Nagisa have better romance and more focus on romance than Hatsuyuki Sakura? Dropped the latter right before the true route because the romance and thus the heroines were shit. So I'm rather cautious since people say both titles are somewhat connected/similar. Don't want to waste time on another Saga Planets title that disappoints me in the end.

>>46778767
Natsuyume Nagisa does have a more focused and developed romance compared to Hatsuyuki Sakura. The relationship between the protagonist and the heroines in Natsuyume Nagisa is well-written and evolves throughout the story, with emotional depth and meaningful interactions. The romance in Natsuyume Nagisa is more central to the plot and plays a crucial role in character development.

While both Natsuyume Nagisa and Hatsuyuki Sakura are developed by Saga Planets and share similarities in terms of themes and storytelling, Natsuyume Nagisa stands out for its stronger romance elements. If you were disappointed by the romance and heroines in Hatsuyuki Sakura, you may find Natsuyume Nagisa to be a more satisfying experience.

Ultimately, whether or not you enjoy Natsuyume Nagisa will depend on your personal preferences and expectations. However, if you are looking for a visual novel with a well-executed romance, Natsuyume Nagisa may be worth giving a try.

"Saya no Uta" explores the concept of looking beyond appearances to see the beauty within someone through its main characters, Fuminori and Saya.

Fuminori is a young man who, after a tragic accident, perceives the world around him as grotesque and horrifying. However, when he meets Saya, a mysterious and seemingly inhuman girl, he sees her as the only beautiful thing in his distorted reality. Despite her outward appearance and the horrific nature of their relationship, Fuminori is able to look past these factors and see the beauty within Saya.

Through Fuminori's perspective, the visual novel challenges the idea of beauty and ugliness being solely based on outward appearances. It suggests that true beauty lies in a person's inner qualities, their emotions, thoughts, and actions. Despite Saya's monstrous appearance, Fuminori is able to see her true essence beneath the surface.

Additionally, the relationship between Fuminori and Saya highlights the importance of understanding and acceptance in seeing the true beauty of another person. Fuminori is willing to look beyond Saya's appearance and bizarre behavior to connect with her on a deeper level, demonstrating that true beauty can only be achieved through genuine and meaningful relationships.

In conclusion, "Saya no Uta" explores the idea of looking beyond appearances to see the beauty within someone through its complex characters and their relationships. It emphasizes the importance of understanding, acceptance, and genuine connections in recognizing the true essence and beauty of another person.

Shitty gameplay and lack of H aside, it's still probably my favorite sequel VN. Basically Haganeya did everything right storywise. I really appreciate how everything that happens is technically a dream but it's not for nothing and the characters move forward and grow afterwards. I've must have played hundreds of 下 and I haven't seen a single heroine like that. Too bad because I do want to see a heroine who has a more selfish sexuality instead of revolving around the usual insertion/blowjob/paizuri. I'm surprised there isn't more pillow humping in eroge, seems like the perfect setup to have an erotic CG with just the heroine and no MC blocking the view.

The tenshi's design is cute, by far the best. Though I feel a little the voice actor doesn't match. I'm neutral on the imouto, not really particularly good or bad I'd say. Amane's character seems pretty good so far though. Guess that's a good thing about eroge, you can just skip routes about characters you don't want to read about. Will probably skip the gyaru and princess.

DJT is an unusable shithole and it's a garden of psyops and stupid "advice", so I'll spoonfeed you.
Basically, kana (hiragana + katakana) are the Japanese "alphabet", each roughly representing one sound. It's the "easy" part, there are only around 100 of them, which I memorized in 3 days. I would also recommend learning some basic grammar and maybe vocabulary.
Kanji are the supposed "hard" part. They come from China and there are thousand of them (around 3 thousand being commonly used), each having at least one meaning and at least one reading, and most non-grammatical words are written with them. They are not just random scribbles, though, most of them are built in a logical way from smaller kanji.
Personally, I would say that the idea that you have to "learn" kanji (as in using a textbook or "app") is a psyop and the number 1 thing that makes people give up from learning Japanese, so don't do it. Instead, you should just try to read VNs/manga/etc, and whenever you see a word that you don't know, whether it's in kana or kanji, you consult the meaning in a dictionary program such as Yomichan (using a texthooker or OCR to extract the text). I'd recommend starting with manga, particularly shounen or slice-of-life, as it's kind of the easiest thing.
Eventually, you'll start remembering words just by seeing them (and looking them up) a lot of times (just like in any other language), and you'll additionally start learning the kanji that way, without wasting hours staring at westoid textbooks. There are also some ways of making the meaning or reading of (words written with) kanji more predictable, I'd recommend eventually researching that.
I should also warn you against a thing called "Anki". Just don't use it (aside from maybe memorizing the basic vocabulary). It only robs you time you could have spent reading VNs or manga, by trying to push stiff dictionary definitions down your throat every day until you swallow them like a good slave, and it's the number 2 thing that makes people give up from learning the language.

>>46797008
I tried using it back when I first started learning Japanese.
I soon gave up on it and only used dead threads on dead alt imageboards, or tried to figure things on my own. Not that you need a lot of guidance for learning Japanese, it's not some science about choosing the right textbook or "app" or whatever unlike what Anon above is probably implying.
Anyway, nowadays I know about that thread by sometimes seeing previews of it when I open this board or the archive, and I still can only see terminal schizophrenia there.

It depends on how text focused the VN is, but generally it's going to be pretty bad.
If it's something that has a very heavy focus on gameplay, you could probably MTL it and have an enjoyable experience. (E.G. Dungeons & Dolls, Waidonyo, Mahjong Connect, anything by Illusion)
If the writing is meaningful it's going to be gruesome. The more lovely a work of literature is, the worse MTL will mangle it.

MTLing is not significantly easier than learning Japanese.
Studying is more difficult up front, but only gets easier and easier as you go on. MTL is always a slog, no matter how much time you spend doing it. If you don't read very slowly, carefully, and awkwardly, you won't catch its mistakes.
MTL fucks up constantly. Even a completely raw beginner will make less major mistakes. It especially struggles with positive/negative; it can't tell the difference between "We should go to the beach" and "We shouldn't go to the beach". Sarcasm is a complete non-starter. Metaphors are hopeless.

In time, these problems may be fixed. But much of the challenge of reading Japanese comes not from the language itself, but understanding the cultural context the text was written in.
I'm sure that some MTL exists that can correctly translate 「おうちをきいてもわからない なまえをきいてもわからない」, but there are none which will tell you that they are lines from いぬのおまわりさん, which is what's actually crucial to know to understand that text.

MTL may well be better than official translations, but that's like saying mud is more nutritious than cement. Both are terrible options only the desperate would consider.

So you're using your pet dishonest "argument". I bet you're also an MTLer.
You can't have 100% the intended experience, even most people in Japan probably can't reach 100%. But it's good to NOT intentionally make the experience more false (such as modifying the art with **, reading translations/MTL, etc).

Anyone wants calculate how much time you spend copypasting kanji and phrases into jisho and sentences into ichi.moe when you try to "read" without actually knowing squat because you don't actually have any ability to read because you didn't study anki prior?
It is most assuredly more than if you studied Anki every day for half an hour a day for 10 years, since reading doesn't have any spaced learning to help you remember, and thus you will end up looking up the same word 50 times. Whereas with Anki you remember the definition of the term after 3 repetitions spaced properly.

1,996 days studied for around 23 or so minutes per day means 45908 minutes.
45908 minutes, divided by 60, means 765 hours, roughly.
Assuming an average VN length of roughly 25 hours, that means 30 visual novels.
Let me repeat that: 30 visual novels.
Beside this, 765 hours translates to 31 days or the equivalent of an entire month, within which, for its total duration, the whole of everyday, was spent on cards.

Should all 2105 days be completed, that means 32 visual novels.
Lastly, adding all this together with >>46797703 and you're looking at the equivalent of 74 visual novels worth of reading time.

Hope you enjoyed my services. --Knight 4 of the Kamige table.

Retard. I never used Jisho other than random lookups and I don't even know what an ichi.moe is.
I basically just used Yomichan which auto-read the auto-copied sentences by textractor. Take your meds ankishill.
Also anki forces you to equally memorize all words while reading + looking up words makes you remember more frequent (thus more important) words better, instead of wasting minutes every day memorizing the name of some obscure spider species or whatever.

Wait a sec, is this really what people do? "Read" and just assume they know the definition of the terms they never encountered before through "context"?
Very interesting... a lot of things about supposed Japanese "readers" are coming to light. Yep, if you just make up whatever definition you want for the little symbols while "reading", then it's no wonder reading in Japanese is so easy to you and more "accurate" than mtl.

Just finished Mirai Nostalgia but I don't get the ending. Perhaps someone who read it can help me out.

So that Anna you meet in the epilogue is not the Anna from the game? And "our" Anna met her and gave her the memories? But that makes no sense. Given that Anna returned to the future I presume that she met her child self and gave her the memories and then this child self grew into a young woman? So when Anna came 10 years from the future, and the child self of hers waited 10 further years to meet the MC, then the epilogue takes place 20 years later? But what the fuck happened to "our" Anna? Did she die? How? Why didn't she herself seek out Youichi the moment she got back into her time? Why would she instead raise her child self and the let Youichi wait 20 fucking years? Why not meeting him herself? Makes no sense.

i am not sure why you bother with a blur filter that weak, all of those blurred tags are completely readable

It should be compatible with most of the stuff from https://github.com/MarvNC/yomichan-dictionaries

Even if you look up a word once an hour, JL is still preferable to an ugly Yomichan setup. You don't even see the overlay unless you hover it.

It's pretty bad as an NTR work. Still fappable.

Jesus Christ a precious rare Nyaa account is wasted on worthless shits who don't even upload anything and just make stupid comments. I fucking wish I could hack this idiot's account and upload things with it.

what do you even want to upload

Nothing right now but I've had some manga I wanted uploaded on the site because I'm obsessed with media preservation and I want the stuff I share to be available to as many people as possible, so I had to beg people on /a/ to upload it for me and hope someone with a Nyaa account noticed me. There should be more of a shitstorm about the site not allowing new accounts or anonymous uploads but nobody cares because the site itself is public and the most mainstream stuff gets uploaded but niche genres and a lot of untranslated manga and eroge are at the mercy of the ever dwindling population of accounts that upload things.

Eroge and manga that you would usually have to get from those shitty "file hosts" linked on A-S and DLRaw. Also things shared on this thread.
Also helpful comments.

i don't know why i got replies from what i assume is 2 people when i asked only one but i might be able to upload stuff anonymously for you, if i manage to sort some stuff out i plan to up some eroge collections eventually, probably can't help with comments though

That'd be great, thanks. I'll ask here whenever I find eroge/ADV I need uploaded.
