Decently complex without being micromanagey. Aside from setting up things like stockpiles, work facilities and beds, npcs run their own lives. Your intervention is mostly hands-off, providing funding, enacting laws and campaigns, organising border watches, etc.

Miasma spells are contagious DoTs that have low damage per turn but spread from target to target. Casting two or three into a monster house causes a plague. Dangerous if you have allies.

Finally. The VIP of the entire thing was the White Princess which dominates Lulwy from beginning to end and Cthulhick which was doing like 40k a pop. I regret not doing this in some high level dungeon instead of random wilderness because the White Princess would have been even more amazing there. Got cocky at the end when she has like 100k HP left and ignore rebuffing, causing a near TPK but thankfully, the Guardian clutches it at the end. I never knew the White Princess was that powerful before
