Day 6: I don't know how to put this other than to say that my first real experience with Anki kicked my ass. Maybe it's an off day or early pains, but learning even basic kanji and verbs felt very difficult.

I made more progress with grammar and I'm tediously working my way through the exercises. I'm trying to pick up some basic vocab as I go through the lessons and examples, like 人、学、友、子、生、etc. Retaining the vocabulary while I type them out and practice is significantly easier. I'm thinking of holding off on Anki for a least a couple days while I try to pick up vocab as I work through basic grammar.

You should learn basic grammar from textbooks not from videos.

not really. When two kanji are together they usually follow the chinese (on yomi) reading but some kanji have just too many readings such as 物。

Thanks for the help. How would you translate the pun? It's too simple of a joke for anything I can think of. I decided to use "Love letta, forgetta" because it rhymed but I'm sure there is a better way.
