The clothes are almost perfectly interchangeable. You'll find a lot of ob11 clothes modeled on Picco Neemo S and vice versa. The Picco Neemo P hand and whatever you call the joint that puts the leg on the crotch pop off, but it's not like Obitsus where you could just create a frankendoll if you wanted.

The inserts are incredibly small, and probably not great, but it's what that brand is designed for. It appears they used bootlegged Dollfie Dream heads, and either a generic silicone body, or a silicorn torso with the limbs of a bootleg chinese doll who's name slips my mind at this moment. Your next bet would be a somewhat larger (90cm or so) Irokebijin doll. The next step up from THAT would probably be one of the bigass dolls from Aotume, which I unironically wish I could buy sans tunnels and use as a huge ass doll for photography.

Scuffs may happen here and there, but the whole thing can be replaced if it bothers you- legs, arms, wigs, clothes, it's all replaceable so it's not a big deal if something does happen -- and aside from stains (which don't bother me as much) I've rarely had anything go awry. Clothes get wet or dirty, wigs become unstyled, dust settles over time, but all of this is fixable. Resin is more fragile (the fucking fingers especially, you have to baby it, but as long as you're careful and mindful of how brittle small and thin pieces can be, it's no less portable in my experience. Some older bodies eventually get loose joints or minor cracks in the frames, but that's just wear and tear like anything else, similar to how resin dolls eventually need to be restrung -- something I am terrified of attempting on any doll that isn't human-shaped, but will eventually need to confront regardless.

Nothing lasts forever, so I just try to enjoy the time I have with my dolls while I have them -- and if that means putting them in a backpack to trek them into the woods for a photoshoot, well, nothing bad has come of it yet! People are generally nice about it, too -- some are curious in a positive way, most are simply ambivalent. In the age of the internet, strange happenings are somewhat commonplace, so it's not that noteworthy to see someone taking photos of a doll in public. Don't be afraid to live your life... even if something goes wrong, it's not the end of the world. Do what makes you happy, anons. Life's too short to do anything else.

Do you have a Sally's near you? It's a chain of hair supply stores. Some of the locations only sell to the trade, but a lot are now open to the public. You can also find wig wax at ethnic hair stores or online. Synthetic doll hair is the same as synthetic human hair, anon. You don't need to use a wax specifically for dolls. I hope you're able to get your girls' hair cute soon!

I got this new RPG from Goat Guns the other day. It's slightly lighter than the AR-15 but still hard to pose with the doll because of the weight, especially with the grenade installed which makes it much more front-heavy. I added some mouse weights into the back of it to balance the weight and used blu tack to keep in her hands.

Most of the heads that are sold at Yahoo Auctions are DDH 01 in Semi White, and oh boy they are usually expensive. This is an extreme example, buy this lovely head made by Ronshuka was sold for over 5000 dollars recently. When folks over there talk about how expensive the hobby is, they meant it. Anyways, if you are interested in buying a head from a known artist, be prepared to pay 400 dollars or more. I myself have bought a couple of heads over there, so I still recommend it, but yeah it's nuts.
Also, since most of the heads being sold are Semi White heads for mini dollfies, you can say that alot of the japanese doll collectors are into pale faced lolitas.

It's one of the reasons doll fags on Japanese Twitter spend so much time and money on photo shoots, equipment and sets, they want a lot of followers so when they sell heads they go for a lot to someone who'll be more likely to take more photos and spread word of who made it.

My experiences with folks who have lost a limb have been through Smart Doll - mostly adults who have requested a specific amputee build for children.

It wasn't until recently that I conversed with organizations that raise awareness of not only amputees' needs but also the needs of folks born with congenital limb differences.

The Amputee Arm Set comes with both upper arms that have a slight asymmetrical sculpt. The arms include the shoulder plug which won't be in the same skin tone. The reason is that the arms are not designed to be positioned in a way so that the frame is showing.

To create the stump, we needed to place the vinyl funnel on the top of the shoulder, but this means that you need to twist and position the vinyl shell so that the frame is not visible while posing - or you will see the edges of where the funnel was.

I was in the middle of researching osseointegration (surgery that fuses a metal implant into the bone of the residual limb for prosthetic attachment), but the project needs more time.

Layer over white stockings, make sure dark colors are lined, use a body stocking if it's long sleeves and tights, if you can't get a layer between the doll and dark fabric, wash in hot water first to check for excess dye, and only put it on her for the photo and then take it off. If something stains it's not the end of the world. DDs are modular and you can replace any piece/stain treat fairly easily... careful about replacing though, as spare parts lying around tend to lead to more dolls suddenly.

It's fine. The MDD frame is mostly plastic. There are a few screws that could possibly rust I guess, but I dismembered them and dried them off afterwards anyway.

I'm developing the story for something like that right now. That's the reason I'm here.

Simplified: The main character is a doll. (first person perspective) Though she cannot move, she is conscious. That is until one fated day where she met grace and began to move, learned to walk, and met her creator.
She realized she was made without love, without tenderness, and out of grace. She had been told her being was the work of the devil, and dolls should not live.
From this point on, she strives to become human and remove the stain of her joints. She desires to become human.
The basis of the story is that the main character is traded by hands as she learns about what makes humans, humans. And she strives towards that. The first part of the story is focused on the beauty of it. The selflessness, the love and bonds, the greatness. Then, she unites with another doll, the 'angel' who was made by the creator to oppose the 'devil' in the main character. The second doll despises humans after she had let her hate ferment for a year. She reviles the main character for trying to become human and is the main 'antagonist.' Through her, we see the worst of humanity; the massacres, the creulty, the torture, the meaninglessness.
Through these experiences of the most intimate moments of life from the perspective of a doll, we can form arguments for or against humanity. Thus the title: "A Doll's Disputations."

Put a coat of clear nail polish or other clear finish on the peg and let it dry. See if that's enough to hold it in, if not add another coat and let it dry. The trick is to add thin layer after layer until it's just thick enough to stay in.

With the head installed and the head cap off, put a tight rubber washer over the neck peg down to the bottom, secure with museum putty. You can also buy third party neck peg replacements to made a better fit. Check Y!J and CoolCats. Hope this helps.

You might like a DDP -- they're smaller than a DDS but bigger than an MDD, so more heads work on them. Clothing can be tricky, but it's something to investigate.
