As far as i understood, Oricon won't count 'unofficial' sales starting September 1. By 'unofficial' they understand copies that aren't sold by Oricon partners (like HMV), so handshakes wouldn't count. However, they said they will count handshake event sales up to 6000 copies only. So, if a group sells 10k in a handshake, Oricon will only report 6k. As far as I know, AKB didn't had any handshake event yet (they have been rehearsing and doing those Budokan concerts).

I'm sad that MM fell off top 30, but, don't give up, the single is still charting. I would like to ask if anyone can post the total sales the single has so far (or tell me if Oricon has it). I Googled it and every page has a different number

I do not like the song, but there's not much to say about the PV itself. It's essentially a clone of many of their other PVs. Put some white clothes and cowboy hats on them in Nanchatte Renai and you pretty much have KP. I don't mind Nanchatte Renai. It was an okay song and an okay vid.

For dance shot, we got cut from more angles, I started to notice it since Nachatte Renai, the camera angle is not too static anymore. And the girls are smiling all through out the dance shot, with some very cute moments of Ai and Gaki. This is probably part of the reasons why we think the girls are enjoying and have fun through out the PV.


Nanchatte Renai's camera doesn't really change all that much. They do the slow zoom in and out, with the occassional different camera angle to hit the girls in the back. They did the same thing with SYO.

For close up, the camera is "moving", unstable give it quite an unique view. No more of the close up with just facial expression like being emo,crying, looking silly like in previous singles. I've said it once; but it's always fun to say it again. At first the higher pitched voices threw me off a bit when first listening to the song. But after the initial shock I found the song fun and quite enjoyable. Also, knowing that people can actually get their voices to sound like that without vocal effects is pretty cool in my book. I think it adds more uniqueness to the song and makes me wonder, how many songs on Oricon will sound like this one. It will definitely stand out.

I doubt it was UFA that made that decision, Sayu is reliable its been stated by all the members.
She is a hungry Musume member constantly fighting for more of the spotlight so it works perfectly, and she has delusions of being the leader.

Hello Morning was a good training ground back in the day but their newer shows weren't encouraging this type of growth so much, with H@M having a few exceptions.

Oh yeah, finished watching the London Hearts thing and that whole show seems to be about being an asshole to other girls. Shige did a great job of that. Although that fucking gimmick of hers is annoying me, as per usual as of late. Guess it's just not me however since everyone there seemed to dislike the little harpy. That goes for the random dudes they asked on the street as well.

Bottom line: I'd watch more of that show. It was weirdly engaging.

Yea its basically judging people on limited information and girl fights, the Shige vs. Misono rounds are great.
