Yuugi Anon, if it's not asking too much, could you take a couple of close front and back pictures of your small Yuugi you got from Death Burger Nagoya? I've been trying to make a similar one based on their felt dolls, I've managed to design a pretty acceptable body pattern but now I'm having a lot of trouble trying to put clothes on it. I want to have a better idea of how DBN does it but the pictures on their Twitter are quite low-res so it's hard to grasp the details...

I did it.
It wasn't easy but I did it.
I finally was able to purchase the Ran at the link that another kind anon in the last thread provided.
It's one of the last, if not the last, pristine unopened Ran from Reitaisai (badge included) at a somewhat affordable price (10,000¥).
I'm so glad you guys prevented me to pull the trigger on some more expensive amazon scam, then gave me that Otamart link.

One information that might be of interest if you ever get into a situation similar to mine is that some elitist assholes on Otamart refuse to sell their goods to occidentals, and thus filter common proxy services like FJ.
I was able to trick him by using White Rabbit, a proxy service that handles all the interfacing to you, and present themselves to Otamart vendors as some random Japanese guy. It's a bit pricier on the commission side, but it's very effective.

I still have to receive it, but so far it's looking pretty good.

Ok anons, I have enlisted the help of an expert craftswoman (my mom) and, after roughly a week of a lot of failed attempts, scrapped patterns, wasted material and overall frustration we managed to make... this.

Now, seeing as I plan on doing this for sale, I'm well aware that there's a lot I have to improve on it before being fit to be charged for, so I came to the place where I'm sure I'll get a lot of ruthlessly honest opinions. So please tell me what you think of it.

Redid her hair and eyes to be simpler, more in line with Death Burger's dolls, also actually embroidered her mouth instead of just drawing it with a marker. I think it looks a lot better now!

I just tried measuring Death Burger's doll from the pictures that Yuugi anon took and its neck does seem to be proportionally slimmer than mine, I'll try to work out something here.

Fumo quantum foam is basically the Japanese market, in which the fumo you seek can spontaneously be on sale, then magically disappear as soon as it existed (competition is fierce). The fumo in question can come from many sources, from particulars to sellers clearing the back of their stores. It could be an unopened one to second hand, with or without cumcrust. You'll have to be cautious not to buy a bootleg at 5x the price.
Waddling into the fumo quantum foam isn't a pleasant experience.
But that's the only option if you're determined not to wait 30 years that Gift decides to move its stupid fat ass and rerelease the girl that truly matters.

That could be the camera changing things up, or it could just be the fact that that because its a v1 flan, it has more quirks when compared to a 1.5 release. Regardless, just by looking at the face, you can tell its a real v1 flan. I know, I've seen quite a few of them when making my Yuugis, I know a v1 flan when I see one.
