The anime was the shit, more adaptations should be like that instead of trying to cram an entire "true route" in a 1-cour show.
The fact they ramped up the goofy aspects of the game up to eleven probably helped, it's hard not to enjoy something so shameless, even if the game was already bordering on that what with the cheesy character songs playing even over more "somber" endings.

Any Kei card works, so if you don't mind rerolling for his 5*, go for it. Also the more score you get, more event points you get. I saw that one got 80k score in advanced and got 500 points, which is still low point gain but better than 100~200.

Ok I get the DK love now. Might be in my top 5 faves so far. Not often that the younger boy route really feels like a cradle robbing simulator, complete with the cops giving you shit. FUCK THE POLICE!

I just get thrown off by the shifting backstories between groups, like how Daddy Yamazaki is a clean yakuza here but in Yui's route that drug trafficking fucker nearly gets the both of them blown up multiple times, what. Also Kaname just does legal trade work here, but in STAND he's a questionably legal hackerlad? Then there's the deal with Kujo and Miyase. Oh well.

Arrived in Japan last week and went to TGS last weekend. I played a demo of this game and 3D really is uncanny valley... I'm not so sure I'm okay having a cute café kareshi up in my face VR style but I was served by cute 2.5 butler and given a promotional coaster so I'll bite.

Anyway, I liked the tsundere npc appearing in re: birthday song. You basically mentioned my favorite routes. It was kind of a shock to realize Natsuki isn't as autistic the anime made him, and his route was my fav from A class. I find Masato's route slow but he's very cute, but fuck Ren though and not in a good way.

Hayato is one of those main guys you can say is also best boy. Start with Hayato's route and then Akira. Also, play Rui's route when you already have a clue about the relationships some characters seem to have. Take note of those clues.
