God damn it I didn't know these weren't just decorations. Finally I can make progress on Rosalind's events. I could handle twinkles falling from the sky since at least there was a quest telling you what area to go to but I'm actually a little pissed at this.

I've found some pretty well hidden 魔王石 so far but listing them all would take forever. I can tell you that almost every area has at least 1 of them though, and some aren't obtainable on the first playthrough. Happy hunting.

Yeah that was me. I'm still figuring things out on my end. I'm halfway through NG+ and I still haven't found an opening to Fleurety's events, but I managed to finish quest 21 this time which I think is what locked it for me in my first run.
Other things I guess I'll note down for whoever's interested is that sleepy mage's final event (that is, after you get her first h-scene) triggers in ルザナモスの宮(pic related) and the angel's events need you to backfire her heals in battle once to start (which I never bothered to try in run 1 because, fun fact, her heals never backfire if you use them out of battle. Nice going Eushully)
I'll write something about Fleurety too once I figure it out. But for safety, definitely don't enter chapter 5 without finishing that quest she gives you because I'm pretty sure you're fucked if that happens. In general, sleep a lot and talk to everyone you can before moving on with the story to have the best chance to not miss too many things. Or just rush through the game once and go slow on NG+.

Yeah, I'm doing pretty good with that, having the spare cash to cycle through all my party to make sure there's no out-of-party events also helps a lot.

I know for sure at least I got the event where if you fuck around enough in Fleurety's miasma land in chapter 1, she comes looking for you and you have to fight her. So unless that was actually a thing that happens anyway I have that much done.

Buy both whores once, then there should be an event on the same map (down and left from brothel, green question mark) where you'll get a quest to find some woman in the 撒餌の谷 area, who you'll find around pic related. Take the drop to the brothel for her scene. This event locks after a few chapters I believe so you might be screwed out of it if you're too late (and consequently also screwed out of ルチッラ's scenes, maybe)

Various boosts and items, and for certain events.
Not particularly relevant in the first playthrough other than the ultra rare potion holder thing that you should sell for cash, but there's some really good stuff in NG+. Keep an eye out for them but there's no need to grind them.

Buy her cheap exploding weapons, use them in combat at least once (careful, the bomb may kill you if you have too many people out, and the person wearing the armor actually needs to get hit) come back to her, get a scene, get the new one. Armor is the last one. Then I'm pretty sure you need to be in chapter 2. Then it's just a couple scenes and she's up for hire.

who the hell would do this? 2 of the first VNs i played were otoboku and monmusu quest and otoboku in particular only had 2 routes i enjoyed, the rest were really hard to go through, and i was totally turned off by monmusu quests monster girls and femdom but really liked the rest of it. even back then i sure as hell wouldn't have given either of them 10/10

And man they need to fire the balance team. Everything in the game was a cakewalk and then EX3 happens and the random encounters/wandering enemies are basically impossible to beat without reviving but then the 危険種 boss is a joke. I don't understand.

Possible, I forgot what type I used, though I used the right equipment for everyone else, maybe it was just a brain fart. Still had zero trouble with even the finalist. EGS reviews for Fuukan seem pretty accurate and reflective of my own thoughts:
-Lots of balance problems, game's generally too easy with most fights devolving to enduring until かばう procs at which point you win
-Equipment isn't fun since you can dump a lot of materials into upgrading a weapon then find a better one that doesn't allow for upgrading (so you basically wasted your time)
-Side heroines being optional leads to them not appearing at all in the main quest aside a few cameos
-Progression side heroine questlines is annoying since resting is barely necessary but you have to in order to advance events, not to mention they need to leave your party when it's so cheap to keep them hired forever
-Game's overall scale is a smaller than past Eushully games

See I like the idea behind it, that instead of the traditional close-knit party that overcomes stuff together, you're just a bunch of hired mercs occasionally running into each other on business. Having played every Cation, here is my ranking:

Niizuma (Nono route) = Lxc2 > Pxc1 > Purely > Pxc2 > Lxc > Niizuma (Aiko/Yuki)

Of course, this is a very generalized ranking of the titles excepting Niizuma. For example, I think Aya from Lxc is superior to weaker heroines in better ranked titles, such as Lxc2's Hinata. If you prefer the "traditional Cation" designs of Iizuki Tasuku you may not like Pxc1, Pxc2 or Purely very much, especially considering the designs vary wildy between those 3 titles

Cation Sensei rankings: Purely's Touka > Pxc2's Chitose > Lxc's Sera

I keep saying and mentioned in the previous thread but they should've just adopted the Madou Koukaku approach when it comes to the side heroines. Anyone who played that game knows what I'm talking about, you know some of the side heroines like Ferruano, Neneka etc who got their own special endings if you follow their events even if they didn't have full-fledged routes.

The linear approach really doesn't fit these type of titles especially when the protagonist is not some 'nice guy' MC.

While its nothing out of this world, they simply don't utilize the tremendous worlbuilding the previous games, especially IM series set up for them.

Like even here in the prologue you have the standard medieval warfare+a little magic in Madou has Melkia utilizing the full potential of megitech with guns, artillery, cannons, even flying battleships. Like imagine acquiring that kind of technology and having it not spread all over the world at all in Dir Lifyna of all places where humans don't exactly have much going for them.

Finally. Holy fuck. Took me until NG+2 to finally not fuck up her flag. Funny how she's the main reason I even picked up this game and I finished everything else before I could even get to her.
For those interested, when chapter 4 starts, do not do anything else but focus on the 闇夜の随湖 quest. Talk to the 謡姫街 lady and the nobleman in the green clothes then sleep, repeat until the nobleman (right outside the throne room) gives you permission to explore 闇夜の随湖, go straight to the room on the right and kill the boss there (the 魔王石 here might be bugged) and get the 雹哭の結晶 drop before going to グヨ卵鞘 otherwise you risk locking things up. If Fleurety doesn't join your party at the end of chapter 4 (as in full out 盟友, not just 協力関係) you're already screwed.

Whoever mentioned how broken the arena is wasn't kidding. I made this by only spending 2.2k gold. Early game I found it really easy to spam the solo battle that awards 3/4 bronze and 1 silver.

In solo mode you do a ton of damage with chain items so pumping up the 一匹狼 skill will help you kill a lot quicker.

There shouldn't be anything tied to middle slave. Brown mage should tell you about an area that you can access in the global map in chapter 4 or so, go clear that to start her chain of events. Make a save before the final boss fight of that area (brown mage solo vs plant) and lose to the plant for an additional scene, then reload and continue as usual.

I know I'm like the only one there, but I still enjoyed Kami no Rhapsody the most in terms of story, when it comes to Eushully works. Simply because it doesn't have one, other than in ch1 and the last chapter. It's shit, yeah, but it takes less space.
Everything else was basically events with the cast, and those weren't half bad. Some characters would get all chummy with other, little groups would form, others would rather stay loners. It worked pretty well, until when around midgame you'd still get new characters and it's hard to care about the new ones. You also had some surprisingly nice stories here and there among the cast. I wouldn't mind that style again.

I reloaded a save from right before chapter 4 start, went straight to the 闇夜の随湖 as soon as physically possible, got the drop, turned in the quest, blazed through the rest of the chapter doing only the bare minimum of events, and this goddamn cutie still won't join.

Is there some sort of event or scene of her acknowledging you've done the quest and are on the right path? Or maybe some extra thing you need to do I'm missing? I tried sleeping after turning in the quest, but nothing happened there either.

Fuck these invisible triggers behind hours of gameplay, my soul is dying here.

seems like she's mostly the tsukkomi. its gotten to the point where i'll forget she's even in the scene at all and then she'll suddenly talk when one of the characters does something lewd. good voice acting though

I got reminded of Rance games where nobody seems to say a word when Rance would rape somebody in the middle of a dungeon where presumably everyone in the party is present unless they actually say something. Unless one assumes they sighed and stepped into another room

What's with the inconsistency between using first/last names in Gracesta, considering that it's "western" fantasy? There's too many factors to be sure. For me my process was: get the quest from Fleurety in chapter 3, visit the 闇夜の随湖 area and find out that it's blocked from the guard (maybe this *needs* to be done in chapter 3?), once chapter 4 started I didn't make any exploration progress to the left of the sand waterfalls until I got permission from fatty, I skipped hitting the two buttons in the first 闇夜の随湖 area that drains the water, went over to the dragon thing and killed it for the snowflake drop (I picked up the 魔王石 here in an earlier run so it didn't show up), got the reward from the quest (whip), and beelined the end of chapter 4 skipping every other event and not even touching the 歪魔 girl. Other things that may or may not have an effect: I was on NG+2, and I didn't stall in the area where you first meet Fleurety, i.e. I went to find her instead of waiting for her to find me.
The fact that the boss in 闇夜の随湖 can sometimes not give the 魔王石 drop on your first kill makes me think that the whole thing is bugged, but until Eushully makes a patch we can only guess.

That's hardly broken compared to the arena considering the time you're spending, and even the arena doesn't give you nearly enough money to fund more than a handful of characters in NG+, it just trivializes the first run.
They should have just made the arena shop stock limited in the first run and remove the sell value on the golden potion and most of the economy problems would be gone, but alas.

And yeah I bet that whole area is bugged, if you drain the water and warp out of the area before getting all the chests, when you come back the water is filled back up but the switches are locked on and you can't re-drain it. So better get them when you do.
