One thing I will say is that the lip syncing is a lot less negligible than I thought it would be. It's way too noticeable. The intro to the show is amazing. The bass was like a full production Hollywood movie but for some reason it was mostly toned down for the rest of the songs except for Story. Baby Face is entirely in English with lyrics on screen and I actually like it more than the original, they did a great job with the English.

Also, the show is only about an hour and 45 minutes. Pretty short considering they talked a good amount and the encore was only one song(which they told us beforehand it would only be one lol). They didn't look tired or have a hint of sweat at the end.

i don't like the album-mix of FLASH as much as the single, but now that i think about it, it works perfectly for CE's flow. STORY is a sudden shift in tone and acts like a hard stop for the album. it's followed by a quiet, 11 second intro for FLASH that acts as a new starting point. even though the single is a better song to listen to on its own, it wouldn't work as well in this position with its sudden, loud intro and heavier instrumentation.

CE's track order is pretty brilliant.

The intro is hype as fuck. Baby Face is very sweet. They all sit on the staircases in a triangle formation and sing in English. Story is hype as fuck. They also do a Perfume medley including big names like Dream Fighter, Polyrhythm, Spending All My Time, and Chocolate Disco.

I also happen to like Miracle Worker a lot. I know Pick Me Up is hated and it is a simple song but it sounds pretty good to me.

And as always, seeing the songs live will make you appreciate them more, especially in the moment.

Amuse are head scratching in their tactics. They are much better than most Japanese music companies that completely ignore the west but they don't seem to know how to handle it, almost as if they're business model is to be tsundere.

They have a market in the west and they want to expand it but they do such a poor job. Look at Ladybaby, one meme viral video and they performed in the US and Europe just off that, and it worked. They also released a bunch of promo vids and EVERYTHING had subtitles. Even the original video that got them attention. They already had the west in mind from the beginning and they capitalized off it as good as they can. I don't even care for them but whoever is in charge gets an A+ for that and other Japanese companies should take note.

To me the one thing that would make a world of difference and is so simple is translated material of everything including non-music related videos on youtube.

The way they do things now is like they have two Perfumes. One for Japan, and one for the west. Unless something is directed specifically at the west then it's completely inaccessible to us and they aren't concerned with us.

Unless you're saying you don't ever think they could. I think it's possible but they got a long way to go. It does seem like Cosmic Explorer is a lot more popular in the west. How did Flash get so many views on youtube? I like it but it's a bit surprising.
