Wada needs harder battles. You get bombarded with new weapons to equip constantly but it doesn't matter because there are never any challenges. It would have been better as a VN or manga honestly. The game play just drew out what would have been a much more interesting story. I really enjoyed the art and transitions/stills though so there's that at least.
The only way the game perfect as a medium for the story was when the creepy shit happened. Having the same setting with all the corpses lying around and stuff and the silence really made an unsettling atmosphere. Otherwise as a game it was super disappointing. I still finished it though. I wonder how they will handle the different endings in the manga?

Why does mogeko have to drag everything out so much? Every map is at least 3 times bigger than it needs to be, every event is padded out with unnecessary filler dialog and long pauses. The battles are trivially easy, making them a pointless timesink. Everything is a chore. I don't think they know anything about game design.

I'd still sex Yonaka though.

Subquests would be nice. A few minor characters with subplots that are relevant to the main characters would be cool.

I'm miffed that you have six awesome friends, but two of them get sidelined due to a four-party limit.

A big one would have to be enemies having their own moves. The Honey Bee has Pincushion and the dragon has Magic Fire (Hell, Poemi and Emalf have Magic Fire too). But some of these moves (especially the Flame Demons and bosses) need to be animated.

Two more games, Carnival Rhythm and Mogeko Castle Gaiden, a direct sequel to Mogeko castle, should be coming out soon. Carnival might come out on halloween due to the heavy halloween themes the little we've seen of it so far has.

And I think she's way too kind for it. I don't get why they're so upset either, there are a couple of LGBT characters in her universe (Etihw, Yosaf, Reficul...) so really a one-off art or two shouldn't be such a huge deal. Luckily it's mostly dried up.

Here's hoping there isn't another shitstorm for the r18 content in Carnival Rhythm despite being clearly labeled...

That does remind me, which character-sheet only character do you want to see expanded upon the most? I'm really pleased with the chances Katagiri will appear in Carnival Rhythm.

If that was Kcalb in the beginning, that was absolutely atrocious. When you have a beta, socially awkward autist kind of character who can be a badass when shit hits the fan, the last thing you want them to sound like is like a cranky Saturday morning cartoon villain. Dialo was too nasally, but at least she's bearable. Yosafire should lower her pitch to the way she voiced Yonaka, it sounds too forced and unclear this way, but it's still one of the better ones so far. Froze and Etihw are both fine. Chelan's also pretty cute despite being voiced by a guy.

Apart from that, I appreciated the lewd banter. I seriously hope they can iron out of the problems, because this kind of disappointing so far.

The way he tried to sound like an old wizard or a mad scientist with the abnormally fluctuating tone in voice is kind of getting on my nerves. Something deeper, smoother and slicker would have fitted the "devil" image much better, and with a dash of awkwardness for how he was banished alone for god knows how long.

I mean, the voice itself isn't bad if they found a proper character for it, I just feel it doesn't fit Kcalb's character at all.
