I want to sell a fan novel at Comiket someday. But, in order to do that, I first have to learn to write, and then I have learn Japanese, and then I have to learn to write in Japanese.

In the worst case I will also have to learn to draw, because nobody is going to illustrate a shitty novel for a filthy gaijin.

I've stumbled into it a few times on accident, its actually pretty gross. Tokyo is super clean and nice except for Shinjuku in areas like Kabukicho. Lots of vomit and people stumbling over themselves and blackout drunks. Guys hitting you up for sex (whether you are a man or woman) and generally being super rape vibe.

If you want to go to a club you have to find one where the workers aren't fucking hideous, and then be prepared to drop tons of cash on drinks and food on top of service charges. If you are foreign you better be going with a Japanese buddy who knows the place well or you simply wont be allowed in. The red-light shit is actually pretty condensed, and you can walk the whole scene in less than hour easy.

All that aside its funny to see young kids heading home from their juku at night walking past gay clubs with trance music blaring and half-naked poster out front completely unphased. That's Japan for you.
