Just finished reading Angel Breath, I had no idea before starting it just how closely connected it was to Duel Savior (vndb doesn't even indicate any relation), in hindsight I should have read it back when I finished Duel Savior. Crimea was cute as fuck and her route had some unexpected (and expected) TWEESTS. Osananajimi was shit as expected but thankfully her route was short. Now I'm screwing around with the characters in Scramble Savior, too bad only Crimea has anything resembling a complete moveset.

Looks like I'm gonna play Sengoku Hime 3 while I continue waiting on Grisaia translation. From past experience, gesen18 games take me an eternity to play, so if I manage to finish first then I'll be convinced they really must have Message making an installer.

I need some help here, there is this VN I've been trying to find with no luck, I have almost no leads, I can only remember its image.
It had a white background, there were a lot of characters but not that many, the designs were kinda new, I think it had a red haired girl on it and there were definitely at least one guy among the characters.
Anyone might know what VN is this?

Just finished Chaos:Head and Steins:Gate and both were awesome. Steins'Gate's method of time travel was really unique. I don't want to spoil anything but, as usual with VNs, watch the whole credits. Both had a lot of really great plot twists. Is it worth it to replay Chaos:Head for the B route? I can't decide. Just about to start Robotics;Notes.

I finally caved in and started reading Powerlevel Nazis, Dies Irae. The intro kicked my Japanese knowledge really hard, and I got serious doubts if I've actually learned anything. Then the game starts in normal fashion and the language is much easier again.

I suppose the inevitable high-tension fights will need some getting used to to read properly.

You get used to the language while reading it. At least I did. It's been a long time since I've learned a considerable amount of vocabulary from an eroge, but I learned quite a bit of that with Dies Irae.

The prologue is pretty intimidating, so much that I actually stalled the game for almost half a year after reading it.

Be prepared to not know what the hell is going on on numerous occasions, regardless of whether you get the language or not. Nevertheless, it's an extremely good story. Enjoy!

Are any Innocent Grey titles worth playing?
I've only played KnS but maybe their other games are less retarded? Especially interested in Pianissimo and Caucasus.

Caucasus has a really nice atmosphere. I remember being sick, playing it from my bed, and I felt almost as if I were there in the mansion. And I think fell in love with one of the girls.
It is however very difficult to play without a walkthrough, so If you're looking to solve everything on your own you will be frustrated. The flags are fucked up. The story isn't that solid either. But it's a pretty sweet game anyway.

The story's nothing special and unless you're using a walkthrough be prepared for pixel hunting and save/load backtracking boogaloo of the ages. The pacing also suffers because of how the game is structured. It's actually a pretty short title with loads of endings but you'll end up reading the same events and playing through the same detective segments again and again in hopes for stumbling upon the right flags.

Don't know how Cartagra compares to KnS, but at least I'd recommend it over Caucasus.

What's wrong with Katawa no Shoujo? I thought it was entertaining. Yes, I know some of the characters don't have realistic personalities, but overall, the game kept me going and I certainly didn't predict the ending.

What's wrong with Kara no Shoujo? I thought it was interesting. I know some of the characters don't have realistic personalities, but it's still a good game, has a good story, and I never suspected the ending.

Pianissimo has to be better than KnS since it doesn't have Reiji. The imouto is also kawaii.
The art doesn't look anything like 30's Japan though.

Any opinions on Cartagra? I heard the imouto has to explain pretty much the whole mystery to our incompetent protag. Does Innocent Grey have something against competent detectives?

Also, KnS 2 is too edgy for me. It'll probably make me mad considering all the possible plot-holes.

Cartagra I found pretty good (ideally you should have read it before KnS). It follows the adventures of Shuugo and Kazuna. I felt that the plot does get slightly convoluted at the end, but it is pretty solid for the most part, and it does have a better emotional impact than KnS ever did for me.

Do be warned though, there are some almost pointless side characters and routes in it. Also, the protag isn't entirely incompetent in that, he just didn't want to believe the mystery and what a certain character was capable of, I think.

KKK has been a pretty damn good read so far. Fresh setting, faster pacing, god tier art, and the protagonists' mishaps are generally more enjoyable to follow this time around. Can't wait to see Heydrich's lance getting used again. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

It's a solid title. The final ending stretches the suspension of disbelief a bit with convenient plot developments and slightly supernatural mind reading shit, but I can't say I was bored during any part of the game. The cocky imouto does make the protagonist seem some type of Watson character more than a few times. It also wasn't that 'twisty' for mystery game and you can easily guess the culprit behind the majority of the murders.

That being said, the actual last scene was very emotional and by the time credits were rolling I might even have teared up a bit. In my opinion it would have been even better if they just ended the game with Shuugo pulling the trigger and left the one who he was aiming open for speculation, no epilogue.

Pianissimo had a pretty flimsy overall plot from what I remember. I read it a long time ago. It starts off really good, but then bores you for the most part, and the developments are just silly.
The mastermind gets away with pretty much everything (more like, everything done by said person seems to be ignored), and anyone interacting with said person throughout the story seems to have their IQ halved.

I haven't played the other games but I just started with 3. When I checked old threads in the archive everyone was saying to forget about the shitty first two games. They all have many of the same characters (obviously, since it's based on Sengoku Jidai figures rather than having random original characters like Otosen), but from what I understand each game is independent of the others in content. I'd guess there are probably some references to previous games but it's not worth playing them just for that.

I played this pile of rubbish not too long ago. It was my first Yuzusoft game since ExE. I couldn't believe how bad the stupid drama got after the common route. Even worse was how they ruined the heroines by making the MC into a complete loser that was content with just being tagged as the love interest of x girl rather than have him try to spend time with said girl and build some actual bonds.
Rio was the only one that escaped most of this and had an overall decent route. But she was by far the most uninteresting character in the entire game and I did her route last so I was barely even able to pay attention to the story by that point.

Didn't really try out any of the extra stuff after finishing the main game, but the Island Mode that gets unlocked is apparently a sort of what-if scenario where none of the murders happen and plays out like a normal dating sim. The Vita rerelease with both titles also supposedly adds a similar School Mode to the first game.

You'll also unlock some other small stuff, like a light novel about (first game spoilers) Mukuro.

This book has got to be THE BEST children's book I have EVER read.
