All AKB sub groups and related *48 groups welcome.

The new documentary of AKB48, No Flower Without Rain, which will be about the fight for the center position, will be released on February the 1st.

There will be a 4-day concert during april at the Budokan. The 25th will be exclusively SKE, the 26th NMB, the 27th two separate concerts, one for HKT and the other for AKB, and the 28th will have the whole *48 family together.

A June concert at the Nissan Stadium has also been confirmed.

Hakata Hyakkaten S2 has started, and the first guest was Rena.

And this week's episode of AKBINGO will see the return of Shojiki Shogi, with Milky vs Saya-nee and Sakura vs Haruppi.

Man I thought you guys were kidding when you said the subs for HKT Hyakkaten were bad. I finally got around to watching it with subs and I got to this scene where the subs claim that Kashiwagi said her reactions are calculated. I mean first of all that's not what she said. She said they were INHERITED. The next line's subtitle reads "My mom thought me" which I'm guessing is a typo of "taught" but shit that's not what she said either. She said her mom is the same way with big old fashioned reactions.
The thing that bugs me the most besides the fact that this is sub "I majored in Japanese in community college for two years before dropping out" levels of comprehension is that there are fucking Japanese subtitles on the screen. I mean how do you fuck that up?

Discounting the two that left soon after the group was formed, Nogizaka46 currently holds the title of lowest number of graduations of all *48 groups. Hardly surprising really, with the management allowing members to go on an extended leave for academic reasons(Akimoto Manatsu and Kashiwa Yukina) and no theater to perform in regularly(along with the time commitment that entails), there's isn't much reason to graduate aside from personal reasons(like wanting to create your own band). They're pretty much the "my pace" group of the *48 groups.

It took me like 3 weeks, but I finished Majisuka Gakuen 3 at last.

That last episode was so bad it hurt to watch. Physically.

But the thing is... other than Paruru's character, I really enjoyed the cast. And even the direction was acceptable.

If only the script wasn't so utterly retarded - if they had spent a bit of time polishing it, removing most cliches and the thousands of inconsistencies, and the MC could actually act, it would have been maybe even more enjoyable than S1. Not good, of course, but it at least could've been marathonable.

I don't know why I tortured myself watching this horrible thing though. Maybe for da Jovijovich. And the Ssss... and well, Mongoose in general and the butchdyke homosexuality in particular.

Just as Sasshi is different, Mii-chan also has different circumstances associated with this. She has 1st generation status, and like you said, she is in senbatsu, and most likely her fans are supportive and light-hearted. She has all the other 1st generation members backing her up. The only ones that are basically bashing her right now are those Mayuyu fans and Yukirin fans or not even AKB fans at all who are fucking faggots that scorn the fans for even having Mii-chan as their oshi.

And regarding Sasshi, people didn't even know that she was going to do as well as she is doing now when transferring to HKT. Everyone initially thought it was a demotion or an exile, a punishment so to say. She got a lot of new fans from being in HKT and due to her scandal. And she was in senbatsu when the news broke out. It doesn't matter if she wasn't back then, but having the news out when she is in 4th place is just as bad as Mii-chan's situation. It doesn't change the fact she broke a rule. She was just god damn lucky that she got found out when she WAS in senbatsu rather than earlier when she was just a KKS.

If you helped the group make money, your guaranteed a certain amount of protection or leeway. Mii-chan was a jack of all trades, so her fanbase is probably diversed enough to not make her irrelevant anymore. She is young enough that she can give one year to build herself up again, unlike people like Sayaka and Masuda.

Reminds me, back when AKB first start to get mainstream popular they'd often have a board with headshots of all the girls when they went on TV shows, and other celebrities gve their impressions of them, or they'd go out on the street and ask random people what they thought based on looks. It was odd, but I remember Yuka seemed to be one of the ones when people were choosing the hottest AKB, I think it's because her haircut really suited her at the time.
