Over the years I've learned that at some point you just got to make some money, but you don't have to get a job. Autismbux, online drug dealing if you have a prescription for something that people want, there's a lot of options out there to get paid without working.

I'll never get an actual job though. I'm morally opposed to it.

Some that have lived for more than a few decades can tell you that the life comes and goes. Many have multiple NEET and non-NEET periods throughout their life.

I expect old age to be the ultimate NEET period... I can't wait. I'm going to spend every waking moment being as perverted as humanly possible with whatever technology is available at the time. I aspire to be the dirty old man down the street.

I think the NEET life becomes something entirely different after a few years.

The whole take it easy and sleep all the time thing is just phase one in my experience. It just becomes boring and you start to get more involved in hobbies and things that interest you. You're still a NEET, but you start to be a lot more active, you sleep less, and you're happier.

The reason because I'm taking the student route is because I actually want to learn about things that interest me.
Additionally it comes with the benefit of taking a money loan so you can live in peace without having to work.

I'm 29 and only had a job for 4 months when I was 20. I've been going to college since then, and have had almost two years of being truNEET in between not counting summer breaks. Changed my major twice and spent a lot of time and money on taking classes I didn't need. The year I spent NEET after failing out of biochemistry was just as shitty as all my previous years. It wasn't as glorious as it could have been. I wound up drinking and smoking pot a lot, and browsing 4chan constantly. I stopped fapping every day, stopped video games and anime. I could have at least gotten more into Starcraft 2 and finished my backlog of anime, but I did neither of those. I guess it's because I'm just outgrowing those things. I'm starting to think about starting a family because I'm lonely and I enjoy the company of women (although I never go out except to school and never had a girlfriend). I guess you could say I'm in a state of post-depression. I'm no longer sad about my life not being near as close to normal as I thought it was going to be. I've just accepted that fact and I'm now just content with merely existing. I'm sorry for not being truNEET, but I think some of you NEETs can relate with me.

How do student loans work? I've been thinking about borrowing a ton of money and just blowing it all for a year or two on vacations and food and whatever else tickles my fancy. Mine basically were that I had to be enrolled in a certain amount of credits and then they sent me deposits, one at the beginning of first term and the other at the beginning of second. Obviously you'd be able to get your first term loans so take a bunch of credits that term and get the max loans you can, then go wild. Just don't quote any income or anything, I'd also get a few credits and max them out for extra mileage the student loans probably won't cut it.

NO I am not a NEET for life. But I'm not going to jump ship for the usual reasons. The fact is that 4chan (and imageboards as a whole) will be un-browsable 10 years from now. Just look back at 2007-2008. Most 4chan boards weren't even archived. The archives couldn't save images, and had a primitive search function. Reserve image searching was ineffective. Today nearly every big board is automatically archived, and their images too. A 'search for similar images' function will be implemented soon, so don't even bother altering your MD5s. 2, 5, or maybe 10 years from now, the archives are going to have a "search for similar posting style" button. Yes, I know I can just make my posts shorter to make future search results more vague, and I know that I could just use a thesaurus to avoid using the same terms and expressions and again and again. But it's not a effective solution. Technology will just keep moving forward and no one will be able to stop it. Google already has cars and trucks with cameras installed on them travelling around the world trying to map every corner of the planet. Cameras and storage devices will only get better and cheaper. I know most people here use reverse image searches for innocent purposes, but one day, someone will be able to reserve imagesearch your facial structure. The distance between the eyes, brow, prominence of the cheekbones, chin size. These are all very specific characteristics. Even your skin is unique. Who knows, maybe a drone could do it while flying 30000km above your head, or maybe even a satellite. How far can technology go?

I'm currently in the process of getting my autism bux which I think might support me for a while if my parents died and then later I can just end it all when it doesn't come through anymore

but planning for my future as a neet isnt ez. I'm making burial plans, I'm trying my best to manage my parents money so that I have quite a bit saved up in case they die, I've already made my own burial fund and plans on the side I'm going to try and get my parents to agree to making theirs in case anything happens that way I wont have to do shit when the time comes, as well as their will saying everything will be left to me(since I have a sister who is pretty successful and I don't want her to get the almost payed off house <- main thing i want)

I'm certain I will get my autism bux, I'm just not on the fast lane to it so I have a few more months to wait.

but if one day everything goes to shit, I'll buy an illegal gun since I can't get my hands on one legally at this point (wasn't planning for the worst before i decided to autism bux), but I've also considered cyanide since it just seems more clean and less of a hassle for whoever has to follow through on my burial plans

Am I fucked that i'm taking up a civil engineering technology program that is almost guaranteed jobs upon graduating when I'm living off a student loan? There have always been two types of NEET. One seems genuinely happy and content living a life with a dim future and minimal social interactions.

The other is pretty much the opposite in that they long first and foremost for social interaction. Most everything in their life is governed by their desire for interaction. Following that they would like a promising future, which usually means worrying about entering schooling or training of some sort eventually in the future. Finally, they're discontent with the labels society has put on them and would like to change their lives for the "better".

Disgusting people, that second group. They really are the lowest of the low. Especially all the people here wanting to get a job, longing for friends outside and being depressed about their NEET lifestyle. Just die already if you are so sad about your NEET life.
