Spanish ain't a hard language to learn. All vocals and most consonants are pronounced the same, with some few exceptions. Grammatical gender may be a bit complicated at first, though. Especially for those who speak a gender neutral language.

The only problem is that as a language it's useless, unless you plan on visiting a third world craphole from South America.

A perfect example of a hard to learn language would be Japanese.

There are 3 alphabets. Hiragana, Katakana, and the Kanji list. And there are probably more than 9000 kanjis, most of them are not even known by japanese citizens. And then all the grammar.

Spanish compared with japanese, is a kindergarden language. Most of the foreign people that come here starts talking it fluently within 6 months.

Yes it's a punishing language for the inexperienced, however it gets easier later. Let's compare Japanese to Chinese, because they both use Chinese characters. Japanese's "harder" grammar is tricky in the beginning because it's difficult to use because it's sentence structuraly is very different than English, unlike Chinese which is very similar. However once you actually speak the language Japanese's more rigid grammar is nice because you can only say things a certain way, when you look at Chinese's looser grammar it can be hectic at advanced levels.

Also you need about 2200 Kanji.

If you have the time and motivation you can learn the jouyou kanji (2000+) in about three months. The other two writing systems (hiragana and katakana) take about 1 day each. You are listening to horror stories from university students, where Japanese is taught in a slow and ridiculous manner, though there are better and faster methods available. Not fluent, I haven’t really used the language in years despite living near two language borders with it. Reading generally isn’t a problem though, it’s producing anything that’s hard now.
I remember a girl in our class who had lived most of her life in Ecuador frequently got bad grades in French class because she kept Spanish-ifying it.

La única vez que me han baneado en /jp/ ha sido por "abusar del sistema de informes" alertando sobre algún hilo de spurdos o mierda de ese calibre. El cual, por cierto, no fue borrado ni nada.

Y luego los usuarios se preguntan por qué este sitio es una mierda. Aunque no hay otro mejor.
