So I recently got myself a new laptop and it came with Vista, which didn't cockblock me as much as I thought it would up until it came to the matter of a screensaver. I tried using the Oni Raid setup from rapidsearch but it doesn't take too kindly to Vista for some reason. Anyone have a link to the original flash so I can try to see if I can create a working .exe?

>> No.995529

Why do you want a screensaver?

Why aren't you uninstalling Vista?

No it's not.

but that is not possible.

I named it Suika, and the background is Suika. I figured I might as well go for the whole thing.

The only reason I don't remove Vista is because it'd be too much of a hassle to set most of the things back up due to how Gateway did things with this laptop.

It should drop the flash in your windows directory, do a search for .swf files.

Hey, I looked at stuff from ACER, Gateway. HP and Dell. When it came to gaming laptops, Gateway had the best product for what I was willing to spend, which was $2000.

You could have...you know...built you own and saved yourself a thousand dollars.

I'd say fair enough, but why the hell would you buy a laptop for gaming?

It'd be cheaper to have separate machines.

I have a nice computer already though.
Geforce 8800GT
Core 2 Duo e6600
4x1TB in Raid 5
4GB of RAM

I got this because I can't exactly haul that around when I'm attending university.

Yeah, it previews in that window just fine, but complains about flash components when I try to actually preview it

Then just get a four hundred dollar one, it should more than suffice to save text files and run whatever they give you.

This should have clued you in.
As stated. Do a search for .swf files

I wanted a laptop that could do pretty much everything my desktop could do though.

And I've tried searching for .swf files and it finds nothing at all.

The SWF is in the Windows folder under Touhou - Oni Raid.swf

Copy, uninstall.

There we go, thank you very much Anon.

And I did manage to find the flash, though manually. I guess I still have to learn how to use Vista's search properly as it doesn't seem to work the way XP's does.
