I've started drinking rum lately, and I'm really curious why it's not more popular. People are constantly talking about how they're drinking whiskey, cognac or brandy, but those are all really complex spirits, so they really take some effort to adjust to and enjoy. Rum is so much more accessible and can easily be diluted with water without losing much flavor. Wouldn't it be a much wiser place to start than going straight for whiskey?

Best with ice in my opinion. Sailor Jerry is the nicest rum I've had so far.

Yeah it's not that. Rum is mostly underfiltered vodka, in that, like vodka, it's not really made out of what they say it's made out of.

That said, a lot of it is still less likely to give you a headache than whisky is.

Fuck alcohol.

I think you can get away with just using mason jars with rubber discs substituted for the metal part of the lid. Just make damn sure the things are, like, practically surgically clean before you leave them. And don't leave them someplace where they'll have the opportunity to make a permanently floor-staining mess if they pop open.

>> No.9941524

>>9941513
...
Sorry should have said "clean before you fill them" not before you leave them.

And yeah they might pop anyway once you do leave them alone, be forewarned.
