I would try to make more money out of the money I already have and take it easy for the rest of my life. Hiding treasures sounds like fun, I'd do that. I'd do programming, drawing, composing music and writing. And game making of course. Regular trips to Japan... ahhh so much...

Move into a large house and hire help to take care of everything so I'll never have to do any work or leave again. My mom can live there to, she doesn't have to work anymore. I'd get any medical problems taken care of (mine or hers) and then horde the rest of the money and use it to buy bullshit for the rest of my life.

Invest it all in Treasury bonds, then live off the coupon income (not taxable by the state, only the Feds). If the US defaults, you are going to be fucked for a million other reasons anyway and the money would be worth only paper at that point too, so don't bother thinking about the risk. Japan and Germany are also good investments, but the Euro is a little bit of a bad situation right now (though I think it's going to be fine, don't underestimate the retarded bankers who bet against it causing it to fail). Japan is a bit better, but the Japanese economy is really hurting and exports to China have plummeted do to the island bullshit.

Wolfram|Alpha says that (100M$ * 2.91% * 2) is 5.82M$ a year! After thirty years, you get your 100M$ investment back too. Reinvest what you can't spend in more bonds that look reasonably stable and beat inflation (Brazil is going at, like, 9% for 10 year bonds) to perpetuate your wealth forever. They are more likely to default, but that is why you are only investing in them with the burnable profits from the stable bonds.

Much better idea than blowing it on stupid shit like you are planning, or worse: putting it in a bank for 1% when inflation is at 3%.

Sure they are! It's not Pinkerton amounts anymore obviously though. They probably got tired of ``investigating'' cheating spouses and stopped advertising to the general public. They work for defense lawyers to find favorable evidence for a defendant and for bondsman to track down bail jumpers that owe them money (bounty hunters are technically private detectives with the authority to capture someone that is in there legal custody).
