True, but spider youkai tend to stay in one place and keep to themselves. With few exceptions they neither rampage nor drive you out of your home.

However, as with all beastly sorts of youkai, beware overly affectionate and unbelievably beautiful young women walking alone at night on desolate roads far away from human contact.
