The only translation I'm aware of (NA) had that issue. Also tons of typos and other stuff you can find on that translation site. I think their translation is too literal, but just about anything would be an improvement over the mess that was actually put out.

I did not play through this series until recently. I finally got around to getting a PS3 and was looking through the games I needed to get first, when I saw Ar Tonelico Qoga. The setting, art and especially the soundtrack are really beautiful. But from what little I've seen of the actual game it's full of stupid innuendo's and general otaku pandering, also the gameplay seemed very simplistic.
I'll be pleased as long as the story has some actual thematic depth. Looking at the hymn lyrics at least seems to suggest that it does, but then there's everything else I've seen of it...

Being the admnistrator of the first tower, Shurelia is probably the one with the most power at her disposal between the admins.
Mule's power came from her extract songs which were pretty much a hack to gain Shurelia's access privileges, without them she's just a really talented pure blooded reyvateil, probably a notch or two above Misha but inferior to an admin, if she can still hack then she's easily the most powerful one.

Mir isn't just a pureblood, she's a Neo Pureblooded β-type. They were created for the sole purpose of having faster and more powerful songs then the Origins, meaning the administrators.
Most were failures but Mir was a success, she also was able to fight Shurelia one on one and push her back (before she was sealed away). So she is definitely more powerful then Shurelia and possibly the other Origins as well in terms of power output, she was designed to be that way.

Atelier Ayesha pretty damn fun, on my 4th and last playthrough to get the last endings I still need (Linca's and Juris' endings). What do you think the best party is? It doesn't matter at all by now because all my accessories have stacked comet power/+25 HP/Skill Lv3, but for an average first playthrough?

I'd say Keithgrif for sure for dat utility and periodic damage, and then either Wilbell or Odelia for their periodic healing/resurrection abilities that persist through death. Wilbell for slightly more defensive play (magic barrier reaction skill), Odelia for slightly more offensive play (summon slag).
