This is what really annoys me, they could port their games to PSN/XBLA and make (I'd hope at least) a lot more cash.
They don't have to worry about manufacturing/warehousing/shipping of discs or any other issues of bringing a retail product to market.

It’s horizontal, you flip directions, scrolling is not locked to one direction, enemies range from tiny to half the screen, the backgrounds aren’t looped and need to be watched for enemy spawns, you select your own stage order, and the stages have collision. Also, like all Cave shooters, it’s much harder and subscribes to arcade ideals like the ridiculous last stage and true final boss (if you get to it the correct way), and not giving you extra lives every two seconds. Nice try though.

Cave _have_ approached Microsoft about putting all their past arcade games on Xbox Live, I can’t remember the exact list but it contained ESPGaluda 2, Mushihime-sama Futari, Ketsui, and others that haven’t seen a console release already. However, Microsoft turned them down saying they do not want anymore faithful arcade ports. Yes, really. Maybe if they fagged it up like 1942 it would be a different story...

Cave said they may release a game collection as a full game rather than a download, but after the announcement I’ve heard nothing about it. The Raiden Fighters collection supposedly did okay, so hopefully they haven’t scrapped it.

Also, there is an unofficial DS game floating around the internet called MikuSmiles, which is a fan-port of DeathSmiles using Miku from Vocaloid. Sounds like something the gamers of /jp/ would like.
