I've always been a dry-fapper, so my favorite time to do it is before I take a shower, when my skin is most smooth and oily. I think over the years, it's conditioned me to become aroused at the scent of my own body odor since when I smell, I think my brain is like "Hey there's that smell again, guess it's that time again!". I can't stand shit smell though, and I prefer breath to be very neutral. Minty or too sweet of a smell in breath can be nauseating, but so can really bad breath.
