Air conditioning makes it only bearable at best, while costing obscene amounts of money to do so, amounts that most NEETs without parental means can't afford in the first place, but even when they can that's money that could have gotten new figs or tea.

Winter means the temperature can be safely ignored, and you just have to put on an even fuzzier sweater, or hide under an even cozier blanket. There is no place easier to take it easy than a winterwonderland.

The weather here can get a bit depressing. There's almost never a chance for rain (our rainy season just passed, actually), and there are never any clouds in the sky. I live east of Phoenix and every night the western sky is the same ugly grey-purple color. It would be nice if everything weren't the same range of brown, tan, and orange hues.
