Yuyuko's suicide is most likely due to her power going out of control; I'd say she's taken a fair bit of soul in that manner. Youmu also technically murder ghosts all the time.
Kanako and Suwako probably murdered numerous people from the opposite side's army during their war.
Futo and Tojiko lived during a period of unrest in the power struggle between the Sogas and Mononobes. Depending on who they're supposed to be based on, they might be responsible for quite a few deaths, if not directly committing the killings themselves.

Can someone please please please make new translation patches for the earlier Windows games? There are better translations on the wiki. The tools already exist. Well, Touhou is a great example of a fissure between canon and fanon where people regard both as "mixed, but separate".

People tend to promote the things they like and denounce the thinks they don't, because while canon is whatever is in Zun's head, fanon can easily be influenced. If something they like becomes the trend, they get more of it.

It's the ultimate in "stop liking what I don't like", and it's just as futile as any other flavor since in the end the artists will produce whatever their own head canon tells them to.
