if you're extremely hairy i recommend not shaving your legs. you don't want to deal with razor burn or ingrown hairs. just use a trimmer at the lowest level. it feels roughly the same.
for the hairy butt, use nair.
for nuts and bolts, use a dull razor if you're a pussy.

if you start anytime after puberty you're sort of fucked with regard to a lot of things like body structure. Male development doesn't completely finish until your early-mid thirties though. Depending on genetics, if you start out in your early-mid 20s you have a pretty decent chance of turning out "ok" since it will arrest some of the final growth and at least make your face/hips look a bit better since that's largely fat distribution. Of course if you're a freak who already has a super manly face at 18 then you're fucked but most people don't until they're around 30. Unless you're really lucky 30 is the point where you shouldn't bother unless being a man is going to make you kill yourself. I've seen one person who started around 30 and turned out okay but the rest look like men in drag. Starting at 18-26 you have probably a 50/50 chance of being passable based on my experiences.
