I'm not a stereotypical wap -- I don't like anime and I don't own a bunch of figurines and shit like that. Looking at me, you'd see a normal American guy. But I'm in the midst of a serious funk which has lasted more than 2 months now...

I can't stop thinking about Japan. I want to go there, to see the women, to walk the streets of Tokyo, soaking in the neon lights and crowds of people. I want to sit in stylish cafes while girls walk past talking on state of the art cell phones, giggling and acting cute and sexy as fuck.

I also want to explore the countryside and traditional areas like beautiful Japanese gardens, serene lakes, Mt Fuji, and seashores. I want to feel the rising sun on my back and cool breeze on my face. I want to paint cherry blossoms as I stand among them.

This isn't just a mild thing, it's honestly got me depressed as fuck right now. I'm in a boring city at a crappy college and I can't stand this shit. I try to do stuff like exercising, watching movies, and even hanging out with friends but it bugs the hell out of me to know that right now millions of Japanese people are living a life far more exotic than mine. I want to be one of them so fucking bad.

Do any of you know what this feels like? Please tell me so way of getting the fuck out of this mood? Holy shit I can't take much more of this.

Does anyone have actual advice aside from "hurrr sage" or "durrr ur a weeaboo"? A semester abroad might be nice but I don't know anyone else interested and it seems like a crazy thing to do in general.
