"Evolution" is short for "the theory of evolution". Even the most diehard of materialist scientists know full well it's just a theory.

Take your troll thread elsewhere.

>> No.9776968

Someone explain to me what a "theory" is. How can something just be a theory if we know it definitely happened? Is it because we can't prove it? Then why isn't it a "hypothesis", like "scientists hypothesize humans evolved from..."?

If evolution is real, prove it. But you're not allowed to look at archaeological, biological, chemical, or historical evidence, because that's part of your own beliefs and supports your own agenda.

What? It makes no less sense than, "Prove God is real without mentioning the Bible."

Of course. Now, wether it was guided or a complete random dice throw, remains the question.

I, for one, find the chance of life appearing by itself and successfully prosper by mere dumb luck completely absurd.

Evolution as a theory strictly defines it as a throw of the dice. Once you claim it's guided, it's no longer evolution. Why would it need to be guided when the theory explicitly describes the process by which things evolve without the need for guidance?

It doesn't have to be "guided". That's a very human way of thinking, similar to "I built this axe, therefore someone built humans."

Evolution could have gone billions and billions of other ways, and then we'd be sitting here typing with our slimy metal tendrils about how we couldn't have evolved something so useful by "chance".

A self updating, self maintained program in the form of the genetic code. I totally can see such a thing doing all the work to create diversity and improve survival.

But how did it come to be? Mere chance? Bullshit bullshit bullshit. I don't care if it was the Pink Unicorn in Mars, the Flying Kettle in Space, the Flying Spaghtti Monster, Lord Xeno or the Xel'Naga, no thing like that should happen naturally because of bad luck and eternty does not exist (provided there are no deities).

It can happen? Sure. Is it likely to happen before the heat death of the Universe? No.

Also, just because it is a garden planet does not mean it is gonna be a picnic. Take a look at Marse, Venus and the shattered disgrace that is now the asteroid belt. The Earth could have ended like that too. More than once.

No, it's a theory because scientists admit it is possible it could be proven wrong.

We can support the theory with evidence. You can WATCH evolution in process in a lab. It's almost certainly a required element of any university biology or genetics class. This isn't guessing. This is watching the evolution of your bacteria happening in real time over the course of a few days.

The same facts of the situation are why there is not a real argument between "science and religion". The facts support the theory.

The facts are not the end of the story.

It is a fact that (evolution) exists.

I found it to be a fun read, to be honest.
It's funny to see God being so bipolar towards the jews, loving and caring for them on one page, punishing them hard on the other.
And the jews only worshipping him when he punishes them.

Don't tell anybody, but the jews fell out of favor a long time ago. They keep going on about the chosen people thing, but man, that is old news.

I care a lot. I really like reading about foods that people made, especially stuff like soup and stew. Those are the best to make.

Also, soup can only be made by people with pure hearts.

I tend to use my dispenser as a timer of sorts. Before I go to sleep I set it to heat up in 6 hours, so it will begin boiling the water in 6 hours, and then it will let it cool down to the ideal temperature for green tea (175F). Depending on when I wake up, it will either be heating up or cooling off. Sometimes I wake up right as it'd being held at a full boil though. Whatever the case, I know I've overslept if I wake up and the water has already cooled off completely.

Anyway, today when I woke up I made myself some tea. I only opened the package a few days ago. It's sakura scented sencha, but it contains mostly stems. I'd call it sakura kukicha if it were up to me, but I suppose kukicha is still a sort of sencha. Because of the scent I don't like to steep it in the regular (unglazed) kyusu that I use for other sorts of greens, so I used my glazed white teapot. It doesn't have a strainer in it like my kyusu, but it does have 4 holes as opposed to just the spout, so I just use it with my tea strainer and it works out nicely.

This tea doesn't really pack much of a punch (it's mostly stems) but it tastes and smells really good. I've never smelled sakura by themselves, but if I had to base it off the scent in this tea, I'd describe it as a sweeter smelling rose sort of scent. It's very pleasant and gives the tea a very slight sweet taste at the end after you swallow it. The stems and bits of leaves that make up the tea itself don't really seem extraordinary or anything. Perhaps they were chosen for scenting because of how unexceptional they are. The packets are also about 1/2 the size of a normal packet of sencha, at 50g compared to the usual 100g size.

My mom likes to cut green peppers, potato, and sausage and cook them on a baking sheet in the oven. Well, I saw some sausage in a package and figured I'd try it out because if it's not in a link it can get crispy on the outside. I opened the pack and cooked a tiny piece for myself, tried it, and my stomach sank. It tasted horrible. It was like a bratwurst with some fennel seed in it.

Fuck everything
