nah, Touhou wasn't that common. Maybe towards the end when moot got tired of their shit and split /a/ into /a/ and /jp/ but before that Touhou was mostly limited to the odd thread and maybe a hijack of shitty threads some touhou fags couldn't stand. 10% at most, 25% at peak times when people were most interested with it.

45% suggests 4/10 threads on the front page were Touhou, it rarely ever got that bad. At least not on the hours I was on.

Walfas doesn't even really do Touhou flashes anymore except for create.swf, which is 80% Touhou and 20% memes. The Touhou related stuff wasn't that great, and the unrelated flashes aren't very good when there's webcomics that often depict the same idea in a much more effective manner. I don't necessarily "hate" Walfas, but I'm not going to go out of my way to advertise or praise the site.

We had the occasional music topic, the occasional Touhou doujin topic that never degenerated into a massive /h/ material mess, the occasional imagedump, and the occasional character discussion. However, I really only was on during nightshift, so that could explain a lot. I'm pretty sure we had a lot more GL topics than Touhou while it aired.

i remember seeing random touhou threads last summer on /a/, though they weren't really that common. also on /v/ as well, but they were even more of a rarity. i don't know about /tg/ though, never go there.

I agree, /jp/ isn't /touhou/ but it's Touhou's home now. /tg/ mostly tolerates Touhou but only indirectly; it's posted only in the form of images with discussion on whatever traditional game is being bitched about, you don't get direct Touhou threads, if you do it'll get saged and probably reported. They just tolerate images used in relation to on-topic discussion and like statting up Touhou characters for their games.

What's weird about touhou on /tg/ is that the two major touhou-only imageboards out there seem to have a large community overlap with /tg/. I've seen threads on the touhou boards get generalized and reposted to /t/g, and I've seen 4th edition D and D threads start on the touhou boards.

As one of the people who has been posting Touhou on a regular basis on /tg/ since 8 months ago (it's limited almost exclusively to D&D threads, especially D&D 4.0 threads), and who knows several of /tg/'s Touhoufags through IRC, I can tell you that Shrinemaiden doesn't have much relation to /tg/.
